Yesterday, I got a rash of videos across several accounts with this message: "This video has been removed by the user."...The accounts aren't disabled. When I log in to the different, the videos are just *gone* like they were never there. Whiped clean. Kind of creepy.

I'm thinking YT fucked something up and just lost a bunch of videos.

Anyone else have this happen?

I suppose it's possible. That's why I'm wondering if anyone else experienced this.

I've not experienced that, but had an account suspended recently. Was doing nothing shady, were my own videos I created showing how to use a free website service. Had 5 or 6 videos.

The only thing I can think that could have possibly been the cause - I had a link to the site at the beginning of the description for 3 or 4 of the vids.

I just created a new account and re-upped the vids (without links in the desc.), no problem yet, but shouldn't have been 1 to start with.

Yes, this has happened to me in the past a few times, when I was trying to watch one of my own videos. All I did was log out then log back in and I was able to see the video.

Btw...have you checked your YouTube 'Account Standing' by any chance? To do this simply click onto the "Account" hyperlink (directly to the right of your username) and then hit the "Manage Account" link, which is located within the left-hand page margin.

Once you click on this, you should learn very quickly your status according to Youtube's community guidelines. :)

I hate it when YT pulls a video. I had a video get deleted and my account got one of the above mentioned warnings. I had a video promoting a small CPA offer, BEFORE YT changed the rules on marketing....no warning...nothing..they changed the rules and the next day my video came down.

I have also had a video just seem to disappear a couple days after loading it, there was nothing wrong with the video according to YT TOS...and it just said "Were sorry. This Video is no longer available." I have no clue what happened, so I deleted from my vids list and re-upped it. I haven't had a problem since.

If your account isn't in warning, I suggest you try to do the same.
