Without reading any previous posts but the OPS, I can say this method does work.
For anyone asking how, it basically tricks Google.
The one bad thing is, Google will fix this eventually.
I have coded programs to do this personally and tried it out, articles will rank just fine on Google and bypass all of the duplicate content checkers.
The worst problem with this being shared is it's days are numbered now. Use at your own risk on important websites!
Also, it's best to use this technique on Wordpress blogs as the final text will read correctly. At one point, a member was selling access to his script to do this as a monthly fee.
I wouldn't advise using it in the title of your articles either, come up with something unique/long tail keywords for that.
Google purposely ignores some words in search querys and keywords like "a","the","that". These scripts are especially useful if you can just basically use the list of words Google already ignores and just encode those specific ones. Just a tip ofcourse. I personally used the Croation alphabet at one point which gave me best results as unicode but I think it's since been broken.
