This makes me feel guilty

LOL this post is great, never do I feel guilty to spam except in this situation. defacing their website without their knowledge is sort of like taking candy from a baby. at least with angry savvy webmasters who know exactly what the deal is, it's actually satisfying to spam their sites in a way.

well, that's a very friendly girl you've got there. if only girls were this friendly when you spam them in real life!! :O

My goodness, spammers with a soul! Come on guys the reason you are doing what you do is so that you can earn more than them. Trust me, many blog owners never get comments in their site so when they get any comment, they just can't help but get excited. So let's just say that you are actually helping them to continue blogging.

Another Bartman's special Lounge thread.... :D

Thats why it feels weird, they are getting false hope that someone is interested :o But i dont have problem with comment spamming if i just dont put too much mind into it (overthink stuff).

Once I saw a blog where his owner was reacting to almost every one spam comment posted, and there were maybe hundreds of them. I felt bad for him, he must thought he was really famous and popular :D

This has to be the dumbest comment I have ever read anywhere.

You will see things differently when you are out of High School. If money is the only driving force in your life, you will FAIL.

Really? Then I am honoured to have that title as there are some pretty dumb posts here.

And I wish I was still in high school, all that free 16 year old pussy about ohlala, thesedays I have to go to Thailand and pay for it :D

</sarcasm

Hahah I've had the same exact thing happen to me.

It does make me feel a bit guilty and since I'm a pussy I usually reply back with a long personalized comment to make it seem like my first comment wasn't spam. I just imagine the embarrassed look on their faces when they finally realize that none of the commenters have actually bookmarked their site, or think that the article is informative or that their site is well designed... Gets me every time :p

The worst is when they write you a huge multi-paragraph response to a one-sentence spun compliment. Oh well... sucks to suck.

I used the same comment (but not in english language) and it really work fine :)

Just tell her to turn on akismet on her blog. And add on facebook...this might become a story" Spammer has a change of heart and marries the victim...and lives happily everafter"

Think this is the effect of the movie i saw today. Anyway cheers man.

Comment Spamming is not blackhat , its Cheaphat. Takes no skill, and contributes negatively to the ecosystem

Truth is, now a days, the only way to make any real money is to prey on the weak in one way or another, whether its sales or spamming, its the way the world works ;p

I dont agree with it...but thats what it is.

Or you could try helping people and offering a solution for their problem...

You are doing it right, that is the whole point of blog commenting, making it look real :)

Think i'm gonna inspire myself on that facebook share idea.

Many of these guys cannot distinguish spam comments either. For example, I saw a popular theme provider where they used to receive comments on their themes. I also used to comment as I appreciated their efforts in creating the themes. They also had manual comment approval turned on to reduce spam. Then one day, I saw that one of the theme posts were filled up with comments "hi,good site", "good theme, thanks", "nice site" and other typical spam comments with the links there pointing to forex sites, pharmacy sites and what not. I told them why are you approving spam comments when I visited the next time and they told where is the spam comment. So, maybe some people are good at particular things but do not know spam. :P

I ran a scrapebox blast last night and today i went to check some of the live links. one of my comments was "this post is interesting. do you have facebook? lets add each other as friends" and then the blog owner had replied with her facebook link.
some other spammer had written things like "this was amazing." you know, the typical stuff and she had replied "Thanks!"
I felt so bad.

There still exists innocence on this world.
