As Linus said at the end of the video... macs are targeted to less tech savvy people who still want a good experience with their computer (could even be a kickass designer who thinks he is better than an asm developer coz he has a mac). I guess you could use macs that way.. hmm..

You buy lap top or computer... Or computer components and assemble it. Then you install windows on it and you crack it, and youre good to go.

Tbh I hate laptops. Those are just dead weights to me. I prefer my PC over a laptop any day.

I bought a new Macbook Pro a few weeks ago...and I have to say: Damn. I regret it.

Before I had a Macbook Air (2014) and it was superb. No noise, fast, no problems. This Macbook Pro (2020) feels like a downgrade even tho it has much more RAM and much bigger storage. It gets super loud just when opening two programs at the same time and it gets slow. This never happened with the Macbook Air. The only positive aspects are the sound and the display, but thats it.

I am seriously asking myself what the fuck Apple did. How can Macbook Air from 2014 seem to be better than a new Macbook Pro? Wtf.

I am making apps for iOS, so it's quite convenient for me to use a Macbook. Otherwise, I would probably buy a Huawei Matebook or a Samsung Ultrabook.

You pay extra to own an Apple, so that Apple can tell you what you're allowed to do with it and how much you have to pay to unlock basic features like updates, which they used to sell.

Apple has spent billions in creating a culture of geekdom and "coolness" to it - really started in the 2000s when they started focusing more on sizzle of ad campaigns. And lots of people buy into it.

If I couldn't use an android, I'd take a windows phone over an iPhone any day.

I'd love to have a lightweight Linux on my main PC if it wasn't for the fact that basically no programs support it... It's so much faster than Windows, although I do admit I don't use the Terminal much.

Can I have a list of those programs that do not? My Ubuntu 20.x pretty much supports everything you can throw at it (I have a dual boot Ubuntu/Win 10 licensed desktop for that "failing" program) , I mean if you want to.. Adobe doesn't, that's their problem.
