I was thinking about install Linux on an extra computer I had. I'm decent with computers and theres not really anything specific I want to do yet, just get my toes in the water. What distro do you suggest?

PS: Sorry for the thread hijacking, didn't want to start a whole new thread about it though.

Without doubt, Ubuntu.
It's the biggest distro and used by lots of users recently moving from other OS, hence the support & amount of information about Everything is great.

Personally I prefer ArchLinux, it's bleeding-edge tho, probably difficult for a beginner.
