Not every American is bad, fat, ignorant, lazy, or expects things given to them. There are a lot of us hard working, dependable, compassionate, ambitious, healthy individuals. At that time was progression and even a big progression one in the 60's which also affected 70's,80's and even 90's thanks the sputnik syndrom.Do you know what this is ?from 1990 its not progrssion but regression.And i'm not talking about all americans but about the average.Telling a countries citizens IQ is on average low doesnt mean a country doesnt have people with high IQ.

You know if the average american would at least watch or read the important news instead of the US propaganda TV they would maybe know what they are causing.Just a month ago the stratfor (US think tank) and a US general clearly stated that US can only hold its military dominance when other countries are getting involved into conflicts.They said they need to create a "Cordon sanitaire" with Poland,Czech,Romania,Bulgaria,Lithuana,Estonia and Lettland to create a european conflict on both sides.To western europeans and to Russia.
So when hearing the plans of the US do you think people in europe are not allowed to be pissed that the US is planning and preparing the next war in europe ?

Well said, but the problem with the guy is not about understanding this, but he isn't able to accept/admit it for whatever (biased) reason.

His theory & facts are based on this, First he'll fix something in his mind (e.g like Americans are uneducated/less knowledgeable) and then he finds/backtracks facts & evidences based on this thoughts. What he doesn't understand is that this is not a unbiased approach to any analysis and this can be applied to any concept and make it look like the whole concept is flawed.

Anti-Americanism is an odd form of bigotry in that it indeed flies under the radar of people who would otherwise believe themselves to be strongly anti-racist. You should have tried living abroad during the Dubya years, it was at fever pitch. Even at my university from professors and students in a modern suburban London, it had a lot of Vrills.

I put the Indian angle you used to one such person who was also overtly anti-racist, and she genuinely looked at me confused like "what on earth is this guy on about". Her eventual answer was "yeah but Indians aren't stupid, Americans are."

It's a carbon copy though in that the bigotry and disdain is borne out of ignorance; for example, another person asked a group of American student reps of an upcoming exchange program if students on campus walk around with their guns over there! It was a genuinely curious question, laced with a sneery tone, which wasn't really met with much opposition from the Brits in the room because they were partially curious and agreeable too.

I know these are anecdotal but it really was how things were getting back then. It still is to some extent, but has calmed down some.
