bunch of worthless kids.
That happened in Wall, NJ. I know someone that works in the police station. There has been an outpouring of support for the homeless guy and a lot of money has been donated to help him out.
there are other scumbags out there too. The person I know is fielding a lot of phone calls from people who are trying to get put in touch with this guy to "help" him manage the money that people have sent him. Scum bags, all of them.

If the kids were younger, like maybe under the age of 15, than *maybe* we could put some blame on the parents, but when we're talking about a 20-year old (Legal adult) and a 17-year old, I'm pretty sure their parent's "parenting skills" are NOT the problem here, but rather the teen's own stupidity for associating with the 'wrong crowd' and/or *peer pressure* to be accepted by the 'in/cool' crowd!
I know when I was between the ages of 17 & 21, my father didn't have a say in what I did, where I went or who I hung out with..but luckily for him...AND ME...the mistakes my older brother made while I was growing up, was more then enough *social proof* I needed to ensure that I wasn't going to make the same mistakes he (My older brother) made...and teens today are no different than when my own friends and I were that age!
So, in this example, I would NOT blame the parent(s)...but rather put 100% of the blame on the kids for the decisions they made on doing something that was *morally wrong* in the first place!

I agree to an extent, but I think even with bad parenting, children ultimately learn what is right or wrong from those around them. But I do agree the parents are an important factor.
I know eh..so messed up. I don't get upset easily, but this shit really upset me. Swear if I could afford it I'd buy this man a house to live in, seriously. You can tell he has a good heart.

Yeah, I'm with you on this. I mean, I do feel that bad parenting did play a role here, but I think at this age, they should be able to differentiate between right and wrong.

Hopefully people do the same to him in jail. Makes me absolutely sick to see something like this. If I saw the attacker on the street I'd probably get put in jail myself for what I'd do to him.
