This is how Google is being abused in December 2023 ‍

Are the subdomains which are created full sites or single page subdomains?

Like should I for example create 100 subdomains which each have 500 page content, or should I create 50000 different subdomains each targeting single keyword?

If anyone could PM me any domain which do this I can try to check what it really does since it's most likely just cloaking the root domain, meaning crawlers and users see the 302 Google redirection, but Google something else.

I can report my findings if someone shares example domain.

Why do you think I dont know what is going on? And who is "us"? Is there somebody sitting with you in the room? If not, learn to speak for yourself.

What I dont understand is why subdomains have the same "worth" as the root domain. Aren't we told subdomains are a different entity. It seems not.

I didn't say you don't know what is going on, I assumed you know since you claimed so. We are discussing in forums with great community and I was referring to sharing the info here, not sure why you trying to be a dick about it. I was not talking for myself, I was speaking for all in this thread who are interested in the topic OP generously shared.

If I get the domain and find out what/how they are doing what they do, I'd share back here.
 
I've seen this before on another site. I didn't want to deal with it. I don't know if it's really worth the effort for someone who doesn't know anything.

Cloaking itself doesn't bring any rankings so they must be doing something else to gain this amount of traffic in such a short time.

But even these are very interesting, none had the said subdomain spam.

They are pushing huge amount of content, but just on the main domains. Some things I noticed:
- Many use just random strings as URLs
- They are cloaking their offer (meaning if you try to access the pages you'll get redirected directly to campaign, not to the actual website)
- Cloaking makes it hard to check what they have on these posts, but to me this seems just sheer volume of posts and probably indexing hack. Their content is probably decent in Google's eyes so the problem is just to get it indexed.
- Footer they have ping link to their sitemap file via Google ping: <a href="https://www.google.com/ping?sitemap=https://mertelas.info/sitemap.xml">Ping</a> - probably helping to get all these indexed. Most likely they are doing some other stuff too to get indexed
- Domains have been registered less than 2 weeks ago

My guess with quick analysis is that there's no actual trick going on, but the method is rather "simple":
- Get ton of keywords
- Publish ton of decent quality content (well the trick is how to do this fast and with low cost)
- Get this content indexed
- Find offer which converts on this kind of traffic (and accepts this kind of method)
- Profit

It sounds simple, but in reality creating 145k posts (well that's just what's being indexed) isn't easy or cheap. Just finding keywords isn't exactly that simple and then creating content for all these would cost you $14500 if just 0.1 USD per article. Especially if you are not sure what you are doing, it could go wrong way since these most likely won't rank very long.

Anyway kudos for those who still have found a way to break Google's algorithms and rank&bank in 2024.

If anyone have the domain with subdomain spam which OP mentioned I'd like to take a look.

Domains are mostly registered about a week ago.
And they last for a week or two then Google deindexes them.

If you could index millions of pages (not a normal pages, but total spam) in a couple of days of totally fresh domain - you will make tons of money.
 
Google gives your website a free pass the first 48 hours, so you can rank it for anything, as it doesn't have any historic data on your website.

After a while, it will have and it will decrease your rankings accordingly.

They are using this flaw to generate many websites that quickly index due all the interlinking. Then the anchors and content make them rank for many, low competition keyword.

I was monitoring one of those websites, since it has only 160 subs indexed in the first days of creation. after 48 hours, +90k already indexed, also not spammed with backlinks.

So either they make 3 millions subs and they are happy with those 90k indexed. Or there's another way to guarantee the index of all those subs. Please don't say they use premium/paid indexer service lol, because it's not the case here

I still didn't see any sites with ton of subdomain. All linked here were just content spam cloaked on root domain.

I also didn't see any .de, .pl, .it, .es, etc domains with tons of subdomains in first 100 results of "winners and losers".

But it is some of them in the next 100:
misand.pl
fotozwierciadlo24.pl
webhype.pl
bosan-recycling.de

But the OP of this thread claimed someone was doing such spam so I think either they've been mistaken or I just haven't found that domain yet. Would like to analyze since that most likely have some other kind of trick going on and not just content spam with cloaker.
