Ok guys, bear with me, I just had a semi-epiphany, lol. If you have not read the Valentine thread, you should do so to see the potential. This is all probably old news to everyone, but hey, it's new to me!
Alright, so here's the layout, this should work with any holiday, but Valentine's is coming up, so get a move on it. Firstly, purchase a cheap and short, flower-keyword specific domain. For instance, mine is EZ-Flowers.com. Very short and memorable. You want it as easy on the customers as possible. This will be your "posted" website.
What you would need to do is create a very craft flyer, advertising your "posted" website for flower sales. Put whatever eye-catching layout you can think of: "cheapest flowers anywhere!" "Just in Time for Valentine!" "Surprise her/him at work!" You get the deal. Anyways, whatever flower affiliate you are signed-up with will be doing all the work. Once you have a few thousand flyers, look for distributors, students, friends, Craigslist has many of them, heck, your local Home Depot..lol.
Here's the BlackHat part. Your "posted" website will be completely blank. It will actually redirect the customer to a sub-domain site, ie: shops.ez-flowers.com (in my case). This will be your designed site, with links from your affiliate and so forth. You want it to look like a store. You do not have to be too detailed tho, this is just to satisfy your affiliate when they start checking into what site is referring all these customers. Anyways, you will use Brads CPAredirect (Fake the Referrer) with this site, to push your customers to the mainpage of your affiliate site.
Why all the hoops and giggles of a site and sub-domain you ask? Well, here is my logic: You want the "posted" site to be as short as possible! Most people will goto a site if it's XXX(.)com. However, with the CPAredirect, if we only had one site, the customer would have to goto:
"http://ez-flowers.com/?mn=xxxx". This, in my eyes is very inefficient. A lot of the customers will not type in the extra (?mn=xxxx), which is needed for this to work, but they will type the ez-flowers.com portion of the address. If that's the case, you will lose out on a whole lot of customers.
What my whole process does is, the customer will goto the easy-to-remember site of ez-flowers.com, and then will get pushed automatically to the CPAredirected site, with the 'magic number' which will in turn push them to the affiliate. And all that the affiliate sees is the referring website being your store front, or shops.ez-flowers.com....And all is GOOD!
Again, I have not implement it yet...will get working on the flyers immediately, but I thought I would share this little scheme of mine with you guys first. I honestly think this is fool proof, but again, still a rough draft, so if anyone has anything to add, please do so. Once you do the main layout/flyer setup, this will all be automated, and you should just start passive incoming coming in. Again, there's still close to 2 weeks to get on this for Valentine, and most big flower stores ship next day for valentine, just with a bigger fee....which equals higher kickback for us. =). Alright guys, Let me have it, critique this method away..don't worry, I have thick skin. =P
I just don't want to start seeing all kinds of these flyers around my house the next couple of days, I have dibs on all of California, lol.
