Think your "cloaked Stripe" will be enough?

Think again. Stripe wants to screw you over and they WILL.

Let me tell you from experience, 2 customer connected accounts who sell on Telegram have been banned the last 45 days, total lost is about $15k for them.
Stripe on Telegram is CLOAKED, but this does not matter.

If a single customer requests a refund (chargeback), that account will be first "Restricted", once you fill in a KYC it will be "Denied" and now they know who you are, and can hinder you from opening more accounts with them. Just cut your losses, do not do their KYC, and start a-new.

Stripe is a terrible payment processor, they take the word of a SINGLE COMPLAINT (chargeback) and shut you down. No matter if you're cloaked or not, you will be shut down.

The only solution is Crypto. I suggest you get to learning about on-ramps and how to integrate them into your business, because the only Payment processors that will work are those who work with businesses doing OVER $400k a month. And to hit a goal like that, you need to begin with some temporary solution, ie Crypto.

I hope you learn from our mistakes, I would have been thankful to receive this information before getting customers screwed over by Stripe. Now, you can get a head start by not using Stripe :)

Hope this helps.

Yeah not the case at all, you just got to do it right

And additionally : just withdraw your funds as soon as possible and don't keep much balance there.

Yes the final one once they perma ban will get stuck, but if you were able to run high ROI it will be worth it.

Those who have gotten shut down have done it right (cloaking wise i believe so)

I am not aware of how you cloak it and what your industry is - but these clients have sold Adult content, the customer has initiated a chargeback with their bank and then the account has almost instantly gotten banned.

Automatic withdrawals are activated, nevertheless if you earn $3-10k a day you will lose quite a bit.

Would be interested in seeing how you have made it work for you.

I wish there was proper processors like Stripe out there who actually cares about their customers.

Problem is ppl hate paying with crypto.

Is there a crypto version of Stripe or PayPal?

Even if they do, they couldn't go against Visa/MasterCard.

From my research in the subject it always falls back onto them.

The only solution is Crypto, but for it to have good conversions for boomers they need to have an efficient UX, which is what is missing today.

KYC and Liveness checks destroy efficiency, WAAS is a good solution for wallets, but anyone depositing FIAT to Crypto must perform a KYC from the options I have found (RAMP, MoonPay, Mercuryo)

The first person to solve this issue will make BANK.

Correct, and the boomers who buy Adult content (mainly 35-50 yrs old) don't even know what crypto is.

My sketch for a solution (which is still not ideal) is basically:
1. Payment page for customer (here we create a temp-wallet with any WAAS provider)
2. They select the on-ramp (ie RAMP) and perform the KYC/Liveness check (bye bye efficiency)
3. They deposit to the temp-wallet which then automatically sends to your NowPayments wallet and dispurses funds to end receivers.

Not ideal for efficiency, but for security, I believe it would work well.

i would rather have 15k lost on 200ROI camps then no money lost on 50% roi.

Its just a numbers game and make sure you have ways to churn out new stripe accounts etc.

But I think the cloaking is leaking somehow, maybe manual reviews etc are not passing. So reason why the shut it down after such few chargebacks is because they caught you cloaking.

Make sure whitepages are digital products with clear terms and explicit statements that no chargebacks etc and sale is final.

Hmm interesting take.

Currently everything is set to "Digital products" and users are instructed to name their accounts/products into "Digital Content" to avoid detection.

How could we make it clear that there are no chargebacks and sales are final in Stripe?

Sounds interesting, you might make me rethink throwing Stripe away :)

Stripe and PayPal are terrible, both are scammers stealing from legit small businesses, but I'm still forced to use both with stealth accounts + Cryptomus for crypto payments. The alternatives are often related to Stripe, that shit is behind tens of small payment solutions...and most of alternative won't accept us, as OP mentioned in another thread, most high-risk payment processors like CC Bill refuse our applications

yeah but anything other than Stripe will probably cause drop in conversions

Completely agreed.

Whoever makes a Stripe competitor that cares about the business owners and allows certain adult content (or at least gives 3 warnings or smth) will make bank.

Unfortunately, I believe that Visa/MC wont ever allow that to happen.

We need to make crypto usable by a broader audience without the hassle of KYC... Any ideas?

good to know man sounds like a complete headache, I use nowpayments and never had issues with them

There’s an off-ramp with Link/Stripe.
You can generate payment links or use the WordPress plugin.

The KYC is annoying, but if a client already purchased through Link it recognizes them and they don’t need it again. I can share it here if it’s not against the rules.

Of course conversions go down a bit, but I’m tired of payment processors and 120/180 days money frozen I just want my money now, no reserve and no chargebacks.

yeah exactly.

So you will make more money with Stripe in long run, even with bans and frozen funds etc then alternatives

Update: I found that Alchemy Pay (a crypto on-ramp) does NOT have a KYC for customers to begin with.

Unsure if one appears later, but for now – customers have been able to spend hundreds of $ without a KYC check.

Thought you guys would like to know.

For adult Crypto to Fiat seems to best solution for no chargebacks and instant payout unless you want to apply for a high risk processor. I'm looking for smooth solutions for fiat onramps because I'm not dealing with Stripe bs. At least once you have a customer spending, when they hit the KYC limit, they are more inclined to do it. At least when it comes to selling adult content. I did e-whoring years ago, and I had guys going out buying visa gift cards at 12 in the morning to signup for webcam sites just because they wanted to be anon but were willing to jump through hoops to see a female on a cam site thinking they will one day meet. Just have to know how to effectively position the sell. Of course having a straight forward checkout flow helps even more.
