Hi I was looking at UBOT and it looks pretty good-- I had been using Macro express 3-- thinking of trying out UBOT any opinions on if it is better?

If UBOT isn't anyone know something that is??

I love zennoposter too. Ubot has a better trial/demo than zenno (zenno demo is very limited) but still it was obvious quickly that zenno would be able to do what I want and ubot would not. Try both demos and see what you think.

I paid $200 for Ubot, and honestly now im kinda wondering why...

It has a 30 day return policy, I believe im going to return it now that I think about it...

It can do some cool things, but for the most part it is busted.... Any time i write a loop bot, it seems to crash random times threw the loop.

+1 to Zennoposter. Steep learning curve, but HIGHLY worth it.

I pretty much just got Ubot to wirte a bot to vote for a facebook contest. Found out later on that I could have probably just learned PHP and went about it that way.

iMacros scripting edition. The only downside is that it's much more expensive (costs $499) but there's a reason for that. You won't be able to enjoy the advantages of iMacros scripting edition if you don't know a programming language though. So if you don't know any language, uBot is probably the better purchase (only because it's cheaper).

keep in mind ubot currently has issues... Almost every bot ive written freezes up because of a loop issue....

Thanks for all the feedback people really appreciate it going to try a demo of zennoposter and see how it works out

you could also try autoit, it has worked well for me in the past and does similar things as ubot -e.g. compile to .exe and create gui apps + screen recorder. The language is pretty easy to learn and there are tons of tutorials around the web

But right now customers would be mad at you, because bots compiled are having issues....

I tried bot demos and found zennoposter more powerful...but it will take some time to learn it!

zennoposter is great, it can offer so much but need time to learn. However, you can always buy some templates if you need them straight away.

Another great plus for zenno is community... me and few other guys are always around to help you find your solution.

Got to go against the crowd and say go for Ubot. Sure it has had a LOT of problems with the freezing issue but to my knowledge (at least with the majority of my bots - there are a few reported problems) the freezing is getting a lot better.

If you look about you can get 50 bucks off the price as well.

I was wondering which is best zenno poster or ubot after reading thread this thread i can make my decision
i will head towards zenno poster:)
Thankyou Guys

Honestly much depends on what you want to do with your bots AFTER creating them... It's much more a matter of use cases than features of these different products at "macro" time.

If you plan on redistributing/selling you NEED a product that can compile an exe. So AutoIT or uBot are BETTER options. Yeah you could sell templates (there's market places for each framework), but the margin of profit is definitely not the same.

I played with almost all of the automation frameworks and, honestly, if you don't consider redistributing your bots you'll be able to do the same things you do commercial products even with Selenium or iMacros for FREE.

And let's face it, as soon as you learn a few lines of code, there's no automated tool that can compare to that. Also if you are into coding, I'd highly recommend having a look at WatiN (.net) and WatiR (ruby) to have an edge on the little toys sold around.

If you're up for one of these toys, I'd pick the one with the least learning curve in order to start profiting as fast as you can. But, hey, that's just me ;)

The way i saw Ubot new version is server script based and after compiling having loads of issues around. Close your eyes and choose zennoposter.
