I think both should complement each other. You can actually be promoting your rapping with digital marketing even if it means you won't be doing digital marketing full-time. That's what I would do.
 
The sad part is that with some good editing and mario references, today's society will make it viral and we will probably hear it in all clubs with a trap beat in the background.

This lyrics is so dumb but in the beginning he talks about Köftespieß which is something thats been put on a Grill : https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EUYb7L3WsAAy1Q2.jpg

Then he talks about your bitch being home at his house today because he is so rich, and that he has new sneakers, and then he proceeds to say "i dont need a rolex watch, rolex watches have no drip" then he says "du kleiner schmock (Which is an insult in Germany), gib uns einfach nur einen Köftespieß" which translates to "you little jerk, just give us a köftespieß".

The video is more satire but its his voice is hella funny.

Anyway, for me it was the opposite ahaha i quitted my rap dream to become a digital marketer, i still rap with my friends and do some freestyles and shit but it’s just a hobby now.
