Think I found a gold mine!

For the first time ever I think I found a golden nugget. While doing random keyword research I came across this.

KW's
1 = 35k exact search
2 = 22k exact search
3 = 18k exact search
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are all above 10k

These are all LOW comp kw's too.

The #1 competitor has been around since 2000 and his/her site is setup really good. Lots of info, forum, has adsense and amazon links. Its done very clean but looks super old. Probably the same layout since it started. It even ranks above the wiki page of the kw.

Ahref'd it and the SEO portfolio it has is nothing special. Its about the same that all my sites have that are 1 year old. Actually most of my sites have a better SEO portfolio.


Any advise?

Should I attempt to mimic his site and take the easy shady route or spend the money and attempt to make my site into a authority site?

Why not just build a site with some decent content and then build links. If you just build a site with some good content, you don't have to be shady and you don't have to spend a lot.

Build an authority site and tank his site

getting quality content is the hard part. Its not really a subject that I am really into or knowledgeable about.

Are they keywords that can be monetized? If yes, then take action now before someone else finds them. If not, then you will have a hard time making money, even though your site may get lots of traffic.

Are they just 1 work everytime? I'm pretty sure that "car" exact searches is huge and competition is low, but that's because its so broad that no one is targeting the keyword "car"...

Ill just reword the content on the main site manually. Its a risk to spend a lot of time doing but im not sure what else to do.

Time? Unless you have something better to do, why not. People don't know how to self amuse (not talking about you) and so they want to watch TV all day instead of a new project. Doesn't make sense to me. IM is a a fun game!
