Hello,
I have been watching this forum for some time now and have always been wanting to start making a couple bucks on the internet.

So what did I do? I did what I thought everyone else was doing.

I bought scrapebox.
I bought domain name.
I installed wordpress.
I spamed links with Scrapebox.
I created a crapy link wheel
Including HubPage, Squidoo, Weebly, Knol
I don't think these 4 articles really effected anything :/

Its been 2 weeks now and I only get 1-2 visitor a day. Which obviously makes me $0.

I am going to show you all my website. It may just no be working for me because I suck at this or something lol.

WEBSITE REMOVED THANKS FOR COMMENTS

The obviouse keywords i was aiming for was "How to fall asleep".
ALL of the posts are stolen from other sites.

So after all is done. Im $-70.

Does anyone have any tips on how to do any better?

Welcome to IM. You'll fail a lot but you learn from your mistakes. Keep at it and try new things.

Keep reading this forum and look for tips no one is going to spoon feed you, but I'll give it to you for trying.

Did you do adwords research before you started? When I search for your keyword I dont see any ads showing on google. Plus it takes a lot longer then 2 weeks to move a new site to the first page...

From what Ive learned so far from IM things never happen from day to night

The traffic you will get either depends on the amount of money you are willing to spend or the amount of time you are willing to wait... If you have one of the 2 and you still didn't get anything then youre doing it wrong...

There's a saying: " You never fail at internet marketing you just quit before success happens"

But 2 weeks is nothing... I have an autoblog with 4 months thats currently getting 50 visits + a day but only 1 from seo... Why? because I invested also in social networks and other kinds of promotions

Two weeks? You haven't "do it " yet

That is not so fast, you need even months to get a number one in search engines... so "just STILL DOING IT"

Stay working and learning, I have learning great things here and if you have some patience you will earn money at last.... but not the following week ,sorry

You say that you are -70$ at the moment!

Well, take it positive! You wont need another Scrapbox license! You wont be spending money on domain until the next year!

You have got an year of time until you spend another dime!

So Why not continue what you just did? or improvise it?

No site is gonna grab a bunch of visitors within a week. It happens gradualy and it will stay!

How to fall asleep?

Doesn't sound like a very profitable niche... did you do your marketing research before diving in?

It's easy.. "Just do it" again, "just do it" again, then "just do it" again.

Many people fail because they stop too early

no wonder its failing.. you have like 28 pages indexed in google..

it will take some time to get your site indexed, did you try social networks ? , did you submit your best viewed wordpress articles to social bookmarks with onlywire for example ? or manually ?

try making a twitter account about sleep problems or something like that, look on fiverr for 1k folowers , it will cost you 5$ and will make your twitter account look genuine in no time. then use software like tweetsatacks to add folowers whom will follow you more often since you have alot of folowers already.

so quick recap:

- create more backlinks by submitting your site and best articles to article directories and social bookmarking sites like digg, etc
- create a twitter account about your niche and get 1k folowers from fiverr for example
- keep adding folowers to twitter and link your twitter account to your blog

hope this helps you,

your sincerley,

Alexj

It takes time and hard work. It's not just about having the tools and making the backlinks. Take a look at the competition, there is an info site ranking on the first page with the exact same keyword, look at how long it's been registered for and the amount of backlinks it has. Do your research. Plus, I would recommend you remove your URL from here if you don't want to see others jumping onto your niche...

Sounds to me like you kw research wasn't that great. If you are doing SEO it all starts with the Keyword research. If you KW is bad well obviously not gonna make any money. Start with Keywords that are small get 1k searches a month or more and have less than 200k competing pages it's not hard at all to find keywords like that.

You also have to remember that SEO is not like paid traffic at all you won't see the results instantly or even within a day or two. Well, You can but that's a whole different area. but most cases if you are new you won't see the effects of your work for another week or two. With all things SEO it all takes time. :)

Hey! 6 out of 50 plus domains i registered only earns money and i'd been doing this blogging for morethan a year now... Just sharing my experience... Lol...I also tried using the xrummer, and the blogposting services they have here...

Just dnt give up....Go for Gold!

You need a better design! You website looks like it's from the 80s!
Also you should come to reason with 'failing' because that's how it's going to be most of the time! But make sure you learn from your mistakes!

I fail more times in life then I succeed. It's my ability to get up and try again that allows me to finally achieve my goals.

Stop Auto blogging just make a single post in 10 minutes in a 5 days or a week ,it's really better than going for an AB

Buy cheap articles and You can get easy traffic

It took me 1.5 years part time and 6 months full time before I started making really good money online. You are promoting your site using SEO methods. Those methods are great for long term but take much longer to see results with. You have to keep building stuff and don't think just because you spam out some links you're going to do well. You and thousands of other people are doing the same thing. Think outside the box. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

A few web 2.0 sites and some SB blasts won't get you much in a competitive niche. I don't know about your niche so I have no idea. One thing though is it will take some time to see the results. It took me 6 months to get the first position on a very competitive keyword for one of my sites and I spent a good amount of money outsourcing stuff, not to mention all the time I put into it.

Like others have said welcome to IM.

Try...build...fail...try again...build some more...fail more...keep trying...keep building...WIN!

Once you win you now have something that you can scale up and leverage into other things.

the keyword phrase is too difficult to compete.

their are two types or categories in internet marketing (there may be more)
Slow and Fast. building a website and getting it to rank is slow and long term
depending on the compititon pages.

As for CPA and facebook or Youtube is fast
so i switch between the two. i build a site and i know it my take a month or so
untill it makes $1 but while i am waiting i am smashing the social networks with
content blockers etc....

o and it took me 18months to make a consitant $50-100 per month
