They cloned my website

Even basic sh*t like httrack can clone your site. What exactly you mean that is protected with 2-factor authentication? Anything that is freely seen with any browser is not protected, 2-factor authentication doesn't have to do anything with it.

Apparently, your website is one of the biggest site in that niche in the country, so expect these thieves all the time, consider you got a lot of contents, this fits for a scraped site, so they will never stop I guess.

But you can hire a freelancer to report sites for you, for example, each success report, you can tip $10 or whatever you like and he/she likes.

wows learn sth new, I never knew this thing is a pest.

So is it can be used to scrape others site? I read some articles, didn't see such usage...

I never knew this thing is a pest.
Major pest. If someone exploits it successfully it can do a lot more damage than cloning your site, they get full access to your database, plugins etc.

It's not exploited for cloning your website usually, but it can do that too, so better get rid of it.

Just a thought - Instead of getting annoyed by people ripping your site (happens all of the time), take a moment and figure out how to turn their work around to benefit you.

For example, they are cloning your site, so they are in your niche, and they are likely using at least some blackhat methods for sending traffic to their cool new site that they ripped from you.

So why not (just a random example) slap in a few hidden iframes pointing to related affiliate products using your affiliate link.

Now every time someone comes to 'his' site, they are getting cookied with your affiliate links.

Lemons to lemonade.

Look, man. You could try everything including disabling right click and all… but.. anyone who knows what (s)he is doing will be able to clone your site. They don’t even have to copy your html. They can just reciprocate the whole site without having to copy code (this is what we call copying concept).

If the site is up and popular, there will be cloners.

I would say, don’t worry about it. Just mind your own business. If you are an authority in your niche, the copycats shouldn’t rank above you anyway.

even the ads.txt of my site is cloned.
That's basically free revenue?

Also if they're cloning your sites right down to the details maybe you can use some backdoor in your site in which case when someone clones your site you get their details.

You can try out anti-bot services. I think that CloudFlare also allows something similar.

Sincerely,
The Data Scientist
