They cloned my website

For a few months I've been having a frequent problem with people cloning my site. My original website is http://www.segredosdosonho.com.br and the clone is this: http://www.scshiyun.com/

It's already the third time this has happened, even reporting abuse and the site going down, so they make another one.

My servers are secure and have 2-factor authentication, so it's impossible to be getting my data directly from the server. What seems to me is a scraper, but this is also strange, because even the ads.txt of my site is cloned.

First of all, I would like to hear from you how they could be doing this. How can they manage to clone my entire site?

Second, what can I do to prevent this from happening again?

Any information could be very useful.

You can do that using httrack, there are plenty of different tools for this as well,
There's nothing much you can do,
You can try to make your website pages less accessible by hiding sitemaps, pagination, clock internal links, etc...
It won't necessarily do the work as they might have most of the content/files already, so just focus in over-ranking them and taking them down whenever it's possible

Just keep getting them down as soon as you can and make sure your website is getting more authority

This is one of the main reasons for which I have sold all of my sites last year, I just don't have the time or mental strength to deal with these no-lifers...

What you could do (although I don't know how much it will help) is find a way to add a watermark / link to anything that gets copied from your site so that when people visit the clone they will be able to read that the site they're on is duplicate of your site. Besides this, I don't know what else you can do, and I am really sorry for you for having to go through this.

A year or so ago the same happened to me.
Somebody cloned my site two times. Clone 1 was a .com domain and clone 2 was a web2 (I forgot which one).
First of all, they don't need your sitemap but use feed (I use WP). So the moment I was publishing a new post, it was immediately copied so I was posting a blank page (waited for it to be copied) and then added content.

What I did:
1. Filed DMCA with the hosts (even web2 were rational and deleted the cloned site).
2. Google and Bing are much faster so within 1 day they removed the clones

Now, I don't have this problem but I had to waste quite some time to remove those clones. Pain in the arse.

Start with google and bing DMCA notices and then send them to the host(s).
I know it will take your time... but what can we do?

PS: the worst part was that google didn't follow my canonical for a few pages and preferred theirs so act FAST.

You can ban their IP but you will have to monitor your server log very closely,
they properly the one are shown on the log only not on any JS static e.g statecount .
if it hard job for you send me the log and I''l try to filter these IPs for you, since I had the issue man many time and I was able to block some of them

Disable feed and xmlrpc. You can do it with wp plugins.

As soon as you publish a new post, submit it to GSC. You want yours to index first.

It seems like a reverse proxy. Perhaps you could try implementing some kind of JavaScript protection on your site. Redirect anything false to your domain and ensure that your canonical configuration is correct.

people clone my sites all the time. its not hard to do, when a user loads clonesite.com/page.html they just fetch the response from yoursite.com/page.html and send that to the surfer.

as far as I can tell it doesn't affect SEO and the clone sites never get much (or any) traffic. it doesn't affect my servers because theres such little traffic.

so, IMO, don't worry about it. let them clone. their clone won't make any money and they'll give up after some time.
