Is there maybe anyone that could help me with a specific customization in the Thesis Theme?

I would like to add a RSS button, a Twitter button, Email, LinkedIn Share, and a Google+ button into a widget area I created for the header of my Thesis Theme.

So I have the widget area created already, I just would like to use my own custom buttons instead of the default ones, and line them up next to each other which I will style with custom.css.

I don't know what code and scripts I should be using for those specific buttons I would like to have in that order.

Thanks Dave, but my customization requirement is so simple, I'm sure that if I play a little while longer I'll find the solution inbetween all things.

Really don't think at this stage it's necessary to get a developer involved. I am a developer myself, but only just started out with Thesis, so good to know of you, we might work together in future.

Thanks anyway!

hmm no expert here but i had a similar situation a few days ago. i installed a theme that would load header and i couldnt get rid of it for nothing. Nothing about it in the settings and such. After some time i thought wait wheres this image coming from.. From there i went to my site checked the source code and it was in a folder inside my theme obviously lol but i just extracted the image customized it the way i wanted it and uploaded it again. Perfect. Good luck with your problem bro

If you have access to their official forums, and you should if you paid for Thesis, then ask on there. They are always very helpful and usually end up writing up the exact code needed.

I've got thesis too, and wondering how to customize it. Seems so damn confusing. So many plugins don't work with it... like sliders. I've been trying to get a slider on it for ages. And these hooks and stuff make no sense.

Hi Reast,
Think you may find it at thesis theme official site hxxp://diythemes.com/thesis/rtfm/
replace xx to tt.
Or you may email the support. They should help since you purchase from them.:)

Thanks guys, I appreciate all your input.

I actually have thought about the official thesis forums, but unfortunately another developer installed Thesis a while back for me with his developer's edition, well, so now I am stuck without the access details to the account as him and I don't work together anymore.

I will continue searching, as I am sure that somewhere someone else might have had the same issue in the past, or customization requirement I must say.

I think in future, especially as I plan on setting up quite a few more Thesis sites, I must think about investing in the developer's edition myself, as I see that I might need their official advice and support regularly.

Thanks again!
