There is no “send message” button on my Facebook profile. Can this be fixed?

I found one of my old profiles that I could use right now, but there's no “send message” button for other people. It's just some kind of bug. Before, when I bought Instagram/Facebook accounts, each account had a different interface, and each Facebook account had different buttons in its profile. But maybe someone knows the solution? If not, I'll just delete it because it's useless to me. All settings are public and checked three times. I don't know how to debug it. And this account

It's not a bug. It's highly likely your account has messaging restrictions.
If you try it on another app and still don't see the "Send Message" button, then it's almost impossible to fix.
 
try turning on professional mode, it usually force-enables the message button. if that doesn't work, it might be an age restriction or a weird privacy lock on older accounts.
 
Sometimes it’s not a bug — Meta rolls out different UI versions and messaging permissions depending on account trust, region, and age. Some older or low-activity profiles get limited messaging visibility.
I’d check:
  • Privacy → How people can contact you
  • Message delivery settings
  • Whether the account has any restrictions in Account Status
Also try accessing from a clean browser/mobile without tools. If the button still doesn’t appear, it could be a soft limitation tied to account trust score.
 
No “Send Message” usually means:


  • Messaging disabled in privacy
  • Account limited/restricted
  • Meta glitch

I’ve seen this happen on some profiles too. Sometimes the “Send Message” button is limited by account type, age, or certain privacy/messaging settings on Meta’s side, not just profile visibility. Have you tried switching between personal profile and professional mode or checking Messenger settings from a different device/account to confirm it’s not a UI bug?

You need to enable professional mode and you will see the "send message" button. If you don't see it with professional mode your account is probably restricted and you will need to contact facebook support to fix it.
 
Switch on Professional Mode — in many cases, that immediately restores access to the message button. If it remains unavailable, you might be dealing with an age-based limitation or a legacy privacy setting tied to older accounts.
 
You may not have updated your page yet. Please update your page or delete that campaign and create a new one.
