Hi Bhw Fam,

I go by George Toons and I am a short format video creator. I have gotten hundreds of millions of views on short format videos and decided its time I start posting some long format youtube videos.
Now since all my knowledge is based on short format content and how Tiktok/Ig algorithm works I wanted to ask you all for some advice and good tips for posting long format youtube videos (1 minute +)

Unlike short format videos, long format YouTube videos require more planning and structure. Outline your video's main points, create a script or a detailed storyboard to ensure a cohesive flow, and consider how to engage viewers throughout the entire video.

Can u please share some of yout tips regarding shorts? or some tutorials from where u get your knowlege?it would be VERY apriciated .TKS

Hey,

Long content you want to be 8mins (1600-2000 words) or longer to rake all benefits of monetization and keep ir short and engaging.

This is the structure I use:
1. Start wit a hook. This is important to keep audience engaged and keep watching.
2. Intro. Small transition paragraph, ask a topic related question and tell you are going to reveal it at the end.
3. Content. Ask to hit like and subscribe in the firs 30-60secs of the video. Provide quality content.
4. Half way through content question time. Now asking to leave a comment based on viewers opinions.
5. Closing. Reveal the answer to question asked at the begining. Ask to read description for more useful info. Thank for watching and dont forget to share and ring the bell.

This is just a basic structure but a good start.

Sometimes, long content videos that are about 4 minutes earn more money with better CPM than 8 minutes long videos. Why does it happen?
