They spend billions to create cures in order to increase the quality of life for people?? What.
Big pharma spend billions on lobbyists to subvert all laws related to them being regulated or punished in cases that they harm thousands of people and are one of the most lobbyist-heavy industries in the world (read: legal bribery on a massive scale).
They spend billions on making medicines so that they can make hundreds of billions in profits, not because of their unquenchable thirst for altruism.
They single-handled created the most disgusting act of evil I've seen in my lifetime - the Opioid Crisis in the US that has addicted millions upons millions of normal people that would never have become what are essentially fucking heroin addicts now, destroying the fabric of society in a huge number of cities and towns and killing an innumerable amount of people in the process.
Assholes like that weasel that bought the rights to that anti-aids drug and then hiked the price 600x are just the tip of the iceberg of the way the pharma industry monopolises medicines and rapes as much money as they possibly can out of the hands of dying old people, young people, incredibly sick people, often unnecessarily sick people.
The have a business model of placating illness instead of curing it. I mean common, fuck me - how can you say with a straight face that the pharma industry is anything other than one of the most corrupted and evil institutions in the world?? What because they happen to sell medicine? What a joke.
Big pharma do not give a fuck about us, and this goes for this vaccine being rushed out of warehouses as we speak.
