I think you realize .. anyone can do Amazon - with just a little capital and time.

But you need money to generate much larger income streams .. so I'm not sure how many people would be able to follow along should I be able to prove the concept..... anyway see how it goes .. cheers for now.

hehe, I know mate, it takes money to make money. Diversified investments, Forex, eMinis, options, real estate. The big boys toys...
 
sorry I can't tell you what's better Ubot or Zennoposter .. I bought Ubot really before Zenno started to advertise - now you find them on BHW even.

but as I have said a few times now - these tools are great for custom solutions which is so important these days.

Danny you probably could answer this.My site is 3-4 months old i did most of the things you sead in this thread, and now my website is ranking betweed 200-300 spot.Did some link building that boosted up my ranking but that's not enaugh.Any advice on what to do?
 
I just want to repeat - that I am not supporting this thread on a daily basis anymore - I've moved countries and am interested in revenue streams of 15 k or more a month -- so I am working heavily on developing those.

Why you leave US?
 
Without knowing your Site - I'd say its related to the keywords your targeting or your Site Structure - as after 3 months the majority of the time my Site would be 8-12 .. once the more advanced Seo kicked in they would move up to Top 5

The harder the Keyword you choose the more content your going to need.

I left the New York City area - mainly because the economy was dying and I don't see the opportunities there - that were available 10 years ago .. IM evolves ... you need multiple income streams and a way to keep moving forward -- I don't see that in NYC.

In Australia they are a long way behind the US when it comes to Web Stuff - it is easy to dominate the market here.

Quality is lower - Keywords are easier - and fewer people/websites in the market.

The question is - how much money is there in it ? I know people here are using the internet more for shopping/browsing but its not like the US where people have a very high level of confidence in online shopping/searching/browsing.

Time will tell.
 
Another PM today along the same lines as alot of PM's I get.

I'm a single mum with 4 kids trying to make money online - can you help me.
I'm from a non english speaking country - trying to make money online - failed before - can you tell me how to make money online.


Here is my advice to anyone in this situation.

Pick a simple niche -- Baby Stuff // Womens Stuff // Sports Stuff -- just something simple -- pick some products with great reviews and that aren't expensive -- like $30-$50

Build a Site add the Content and Links - Set Up tracking -- and just work on it and see how it all works -- when you start getting 3-5 Sales a day -- then use the same technique except for $500+ products.

You won't make alot of money - but what your learning fast - is if this is something that's going to work for you - can you select good keywords and can you get some traffic ... that way if this isn't for you - it won't cost you much to try.

I'm sorry but I am just not interested in offering any products or services in relation to Amazon - because its just not worth my time and headaches to do so ... my life is moving on and I need to use my time to try to make more and more money by moving into bigger and bigger projects ... I hope this makes sense .... cheers.
 
My $60 a day site has bounced back after 1 month of disappearing in Google :D

Not sure what the problem was but to resolve I did the following:
- Removed all amazon links
- Changed the theme (I was using a pirate one)
- Removed all backlinks

I am hoping that the issue was the theme and I can now build more backlinks again. I have already added Amazon links back but not as many.

Fingers crossed it will stick this time, as rankings and traffic are good again.
 
Couple of things :

I have a USA Registered Company - the company signed up with Amazon - and they pay the Company by direct debit payment option - so money goes straight into the company account .... so I am not the best person to ask if your living in another country how best to receive your payments -- however if it were me I would try Payoneer first -- before I would take a check so I could get my money faster ... but you will have to resolve this as I have no idea how easy or hard that is.

In general if your taking IM seriously it's a good idea to start a company. Receive all income and pay expenses through the company - then pay yourself a salary - consultant fee - whatever you want to call it - so that you pay the lowest amount of taxes possible and expense as much as possible ... again a good accountant is necessary to make sure everything is done properly.

Keyword Stats :

a different type of Keyword Question.

My general answer to Keyword Research and Stats - is that its not 100% reliable.

The simple fact is Sites don't sell the same amount month in month out - people tend to buy more at certain times of the year than others - and you need diversity to make sure that you have a steady month in month out income.

So yeah if the keyword stats say its worthwhile - try it - see if it is or not -- don't bet the farm until the Site shows you it can Sell... and you can rank .. as crap rankings = crap Sales.

Hi Danny1111,thanks for this thread.I just to make a site using amazon and been reading the posts and following this theread here.Have a question in mind:


1. Do you cloaked your amazon affiliate link?If you do,is your account safe,means is this not against Amazon TOS,just curious since we are aiming for a long term business here?and if you do,in your opinion what is the best cloaking plugin?


2. Domain names,sample if the niche is like Aveeno Baby Gift Set so would you go to aveenobabyreview.Com or what?

3. Also what do you mean don't spam your site?

I don't cloak - I use no follow plugin

No Brand Names in URL

Don't build hundreds of profile links to your Money Site // In General don't start a Site today and tomorrow build 5,000 links directly to it --> overall link velocity is determined by age of Site and Content - a Site with 1 Review doesn't deserve 10,000 links in the first month ................ >>>> use common sense here. Basically for me I don't rush a site I know I will have most of them for years to come .. but some people when they build their first site want to make money from it in the first couple weeks ... in this case Amazon is probably not for you.

As far as Sites up and down etc -- its part of the business - you need quality / diversity and a consistent Grey Hat Seo Strategy.

Also build links to your PDF's, PR, Videos or whatever else you build -- the smaller the keyword the more you will dominate the first couple pages -- the harder the keyword well you need to be doing everything you can to rank anyway.

Summary : Just make sure you have passable on-page .. decent site where people can find what they are looking for - quality unique content - then an Seo Strategy that makes sense for the age of the Site.
