this was something on WF - I saw this morning.
You can see some obvious Flaws with using this type of Site -- but at the same time can get some ideas on how to present things.
It's really like using FSB type Sites where after a while Google sees right through them -- but anyway worth a look --> market research I guess its called.

Can anyone help me on this one? Pmed danny on my first site and told me to get rid of the amazon widgets but i didnt use any. By any chance was he referring to the text and image codes i used? I used a mix of my buttons, my images+links and text and image codes from amazon only. I know danny is busy enough as it is. Just wanna ask the rest of the guys here. Thanks!

johnnyd77 - when looking for a writer do you shop around - can you recommend anyone?
Ive been using N.Nixon but the quality of the work varies from amazing to mediocre even though i use the same template when requesting the articles.
Is it worth paying extra for the actual money site articles & reviews and use the fiverr gigs for web2.0/blogs that link to main money site?

Yes I do shop around. I'm not only looking for a typos free writer. I'm always looking for a writer that masters the subject of my site.
It's worth paying more for your money site content, I can garantee that.
If your content is great, your average time onsite will increase, as simple as that. Then, you pages will rank higher in Search engines.
I dont use much web 2.0 and all that kind of SEO. However, I would recommend you to pay less for those filler content. Requirement must be to have a unique article, thats all (and not spun).

I am not sure whether this question has been asked or not.. but I'm a bit confuse right now.
(1) Is it against TOS if the price display on our site is different than the price display on Amazon? Or should we need to update the price regularly?
(2) I'm using a review theme which has Buy Now button for every post on the homepage excerpt. I heard somewhere where a guy said his site is penalized because of too many amazon affiliate links on the homepage. Anybody here face this problem as well?

Hey, if you want to show the price for product then these have to be current prices. There have been some case studies about the amount of affiliate links (best example is Niche Pursuits blog). I personally suggest not to use affiliate links on every post/page. I used some pretty cool plugins to show niche related products on sidebar and on each post. When you show these on sidebar then you have to understand that each post/page has these affiliate links. After removing these from couple of my sites i got better results in Google.

do you prefer:

"this product is used...."
I, you, or actual reference ?
Personally, I much prefer to use "you" as it is easier to create a more vivid picture in the mind of your reader.
Would be interesting to hear other peoples views.

About linking to amazon. I`ve tested many things and i can suggest to use one link in content, 1-2 images linking to Amazon and one "call-to-action" link (i suggest to use some image with text and Amazon logo/text like "click here to buy..." - let them know that you`re referring to Amazon cause it`s trusted brand and they feel more comfortable and secure).

Hey maybe it's been asked, I haven't fully read the thread yet, but what is a good wp theme to use? You guys have been saying magazine style is better, but I am new and not familiar with a bunch of the theme names. I have also taken a liking to the karma theme. Would it work? Or do you have any better suggestions. Thanks

I like the karma theme too, you can do a lot of customization and the the tables seems nice for comparing products.
P.S - You should spend some time reading some of this thread, there info about plugins and other useful stuff.

1) How soon do you do SEO campaigns (including danny's)after the site is done?
2) How do you check your keyword rankings? (like the ones i keep on seeing on reviews of seo campaigns i.e keyword 1 #20->#6)
3) And lastly, is too much of backlinking bad to a site just 2 weeks old?

Thanks for your input - i think i will maybe check somewhere like elance for my main money site articles from now on as its hit and miss with NN articles.

2. I use whatsmyserp.com, it's simple. There are many other tools, gg it.

im building 1000 different blogs with images and videos from multiple social sites, is content really necessary to rank higher or can i make it with only images kind of pinterest way ?
