The subreddits I create are getting deleted

Hello. We all know that Reddit's spam filter is quite advanced. However, I believe it sometimes works incorrectly in certain situations.

For example, after warming up the accounts I bought for a few days, I create a new subreddit. Even though I don't make any posts in the subreddit, it gets deleted after a few days due to spam. But no posts are shared in the subreddit at all. This doesn't happen with all accounts in the same way.

I warm up all the accounts and build up karma. Subreddits can be deleted on accounts with higher karma. Subreddits on accounts with lower karma can remain without being deleted. I don't think karma is very important here. However, I can't understand why the subreddits are getting deleted despite not making any posts. Do you have any idea about this?

Can several factors such as how you're logging in, the proxies etc.

I am spot testing to try and figure this out too. I noticed once an account successfully can post in a subreddit, the account is good to go, and the ones that do get banned appear to get banned in a few hours

I am using a mobile proxy. A different proxy for each account. Also anti detect browser. There is no problem in accounts posting to other subreddits. I post on other subreddits to increase my karma. I also comment under the posts. The account is not banned. However, when I create a subreddit, it gets banned within a few days.

As I mentioned in my previous message, I don't have trouble posting in other subreddits.

It seems my account is not actually getting caught in the spam filter. However, I have trouble creating subreddits. If the accounts were newly created, I could say it was because the accounts are new. But the accounts are almost a year old. The newest accounts are 4-5 months old.

Sometimes I can use subreddits created with accounts that have been warmed up less and have less post-comment karma. Subreddits created with accounts that I warmed up for longer and have more karma get deleted. This is very frustrating and interesting.

You probably get flagged sometime in that warm up period due to some post/comment/unusual activity, that would explain why you get banned sometimes and other times dont. Creating subreddit require cleanest most quality accs in order to use it normally without getting banned. I would use older accounts that do not have much post/comment history and check if you can use those.

That's what's wrong, IMO.

Think of it as a scale of trust and activity relation, 1 to 10 sort of thing in Reddit's eyes. 1-10 in terms of your account's trust, and 1-10 in terms of the shadiness of the activity you try to perform, combined.

1 is "You registered 3 minutes ago with Google auto nickname, using a spammy datacenter proxy, and you try to message 500 accounts right away? Fuck right off, instant permaban"

10 is "So, you were here for 10 years, logged in every day, chatted with people, we have a gorillion of info on your activity, and you're trying to upvote something? Yup, you're doing it freely."

Reddit has many, MANY, accounts in 10 years club, 5 year club, and so on. Constant human activity for years.

SURE, 2, 3, 5 days warm-up is better than none. However, it's still, like, barely a 2 / 10 in Reddit's eyes. And you're trying to make a sub, basically reserve a place for your interests in their community. Of course it's an action that triggers the filter, and what do they see when "they" take a closer look? Your few days of commenting? It's a a reason to flag you and ban the shit out of whatever you, a miserably untrustworthy account, are trying to create.

You're right. IMO karma exists for three reasons:

1. So account sellers can charge you extra $20 for $5 worth of upvotes from microworkers (on an account post, of course)
2. So that-one-mod in r/transcatlovers is %0,133298 less likely to flag you manually.
3. So u/tothemoon1999 is a little more likely to believe in your shitcoin suggestion.

Reddit's inner filters don't give two shits about karma. It's a social thing. Not a real decision-making factor for the system, but a rough, twisted, obfuscated, simplified reflection of it.

First of all, thank you very much for your response. However, I am starting to think that Reddit's spam filter works randomly. I used five 1-year-old accounts bought from the same seller to test. I logged into all of them, followed a few subs, and then created my own subreddit. After waiting for one day, I started posting in all of them. Now, three of my subreddits have been closed, but two are still open. I've been posting for a week now.

Reddit's spam filter is really terrible and works arbitrarily. If you're lucky, your account won't get banned, and your subreddit won't get closed. So, pray to the gods for good luck! ^^

Exactly. I think it might be the chance it works randomly now, but also it can be triggered by some bits and pieces in your workflow. I am not working with my own subreddits, but I am posting spamming links. After the last update it's really unpredictable and very difficult to do it, since they are banning old and high karma accounts as well very easily. Yesterday I posted different links in different subreddits with different browsers on the same mobile IP, 2 posts and accounts are still live, 1 was dead after 2 minutes. I tried again with that same browser with different account - different subreddit - different post, it was insta shadowban. So difficult to predict the pattern now. In my case, I believe that some certain keywords posted in some subreddits are triggering spam filter.

Maybe it's the subreddit name
if it's trademark or have copyright

The thing is, the filter can NOT be random, by definition and by design. It's a bunch of code, developed by someone, with some logic in place. Can it be faulty? Bugged? Flawed? Terribly tuned? Yes. Unpredictable? No way. Something triggers it every time it performs some action (in this case, ban).

The whole point here is that I believe labeling a thing we don't understand yet as random is not a good way to go. Gotta keep up with the experiments and do our silly little Rain Dance. That's the only way to find the actual (probably retarded and flawed) logic behind all the bans.

Some keywords definitely get caught in the spam filter instantly and get banned right away. However, this applies to new accounts. If it's a well-warmed-up account, it doesn't get banned immediately. But closing a subreddit due to spam when nothing has been posted in it has no logical explanation, no matter how you look at it.

No, I create NSFW subreddits. The sub names are actually a mix of the names of popular subreddits. They don't contain any banned words. They are created with the NSFW tag and wait without any posts.

Yes, you've given a good example, albeit a bit strange. Congratulations.

I absolutely think they've been trying different algorithms for months. We're looking for a way to bypass it, but there's no solution because the algorithm isn't working effectively. It's like rolling the dice.

It's like a game where you win if you roll an even number. Sometimes you can spam successfully for a long time on certain accounts. But on another account where you do the exact same thing, you get banned. Because you rolled an odd number. Since it's entirely dependent on luck, you can't find a special way to roll an even number. All you can do is trust your luck.

I hope Reddit doesn't make things even more difficult for us.

Yes, I use Incognito and Dolphin. I also use rotating mobile proxies as my proxy.

You need to warm up your account first before creating subreddits.

my own update for those who are interested, I had 2 accounts successfully make new accounts and post. it seems if it doesn't get banned straight away it appears to stick. warming up the accounts didn't appear to matter. I warmed up accounts by commenting in subreddits in things I was legitimately interested in , and had conversations with ppl, but it would still get insta banned. however used a different method and had 2 new accounts post in new subreddits and stick

No, bro, if that were the case, all my accounts would have been banned instantly. I have accounts that I've been spamming with for a month and they still haven't been banned. I'm using the same device.

Yes, I do that. However, I've noticed that warming up accounts is also random. For some accounts, warming them up for 3-4 days is enough to create a subreddit. But for others, this isn't sufficient, and the subreddit gets shut down. In some cases, even after warming up the accounts for 2 weeks, the subreddits still get shut down. As I said, everything on Reddit is random. If you're lucky, you won't get banned.

Yes, I don't have any problems with these either. I can use the accounts successfully. I can comment or post in other subreddits without any issues. However, when I create my own subreddit, it gets shut down after a few days. The account remains active and intact. Have you tried creating your own subreddits with your accounts?

i am trying to create subs as well, they keep getting banned, i dont know why
