What type of AD converts better ?

News feed ?
Video/iamge ?
Corner AD ?

I think I suck..

45$ in ads spent on 6 different products

1 sale for 5$ profits.

Oh well T_T

If anyone has niche ideas that works a bit... I'm obviously not able to pick a good one >>

Have anyone tried this method using Amazon? I'm considering using it instead of Aliexpress. What do you guys think?

It could work, but just like the whole eBay to amazon arbitrage method, when people see amazon packing tape and realize they could have gotten it cheaper they get pissed. Plus, anything you could normally get on amazon is a bad niche. You need shit people don't see everyday, the wow factor, the god damn I need to buy it now type stuff. Don't be afraid to explore into some weird niches, that's where the passion is. This method works best targeting super micro niche people. I was just watching Chris Record and he had a teespring campaigns targeting women for the second amendment "guns rights" basically. This is a perfect example of a targeted niche with passionate people. Obviously don't copy this. It's just an example, but if you can't think for yourself or out of the box, this method isn't for you.

I just wanted to say thanks to Franklin for putting all of this info out there and thank you to all the people contributing to the discussion! I will definitely be testing this asap.

Franklin - You probably won't answer this so people don't start spamming it, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask...would you be willing to share the name of the FB group you joined that shows the 80K success story?

Is there any difference in making ad with popular facebook pages or newborn pages ?

I have a question:

As most AliExpress sellers "ship within 7 days", how is it then possible to have a product delivered within 2-3 weeks, when only the delivery itself takes that much time.

Can you give me an advice on this, for instance if you have to negotiate with the seller to ship items immediately (I think it will be a bit hard to order single items for a dollar or two from top rated sellers and ask them (just for you) to ship out immediately) or just look for sellers, who ship faster or deliver within a shorter period?

Many thanks on that!

Or does it actually include the shipping time within the delivery one?

You are a perfect example of why 95% of people here will never make any decent amount of money. You make excuses and expect shit to work instantly, the first time you try. If that was the case, everyone including your grandmother would do it. Facebook traffic is a gold mine, you just have to spend the time and money to optimize it.

I shouldn't have to show you this, but here you go anyway:

Boom goes the TnT, loving the results. That 0.04 looks nice

With a reach of 1000 I got 5 clicks

That's a clear sign that your niche is not working. very clear sign.

Hi everybody,
this method works only with USA audience ( e.g aliexpress ship only to USA) or also for other countries?
im interested to try it in Italian niche.
Many thanks!

World wide homie.

It's called the eCom academy course FB group but you have to pay $297 for the course to get in. I paid then asked for a refund the next day ;)

Well, not sure. If the niche/product is not good, then why the many post engagements? Why someone would click on like or comment on a post where a product is shown that is not good/he does not like?
I think it is just the same as with Teespring. I had a tee design online on teespring, I got almost 800 likes, plus comment after comment like "I must have this", "I will buy this", "XYZ look, you must get this" .... In the end I sold 4 (!!!!) t shirts. Why? Because fb traffic does not convert, it is not buyer traffic. Look at the teespring campaigns that sold hundreds of t shirts, for sure they also paid hundreds of $ PER DAY on advertising. If I had that budget I would not need to do this method at all.

Also about my niche, well, I also tried those niches on this and other threads were many pretended to get "so much orders". I still got none.

I need some help, I was actually making money with this method but at the moment I am having some problems. Facebook Ads have been a real nightmare in last days :/ So I create a campaign, promoting for conversions, and I put $50 of budget, but facebook charges all that money in 10 minutes and at that moment the site is with 30-40 persons online and no sales, the problem is really that the Facebook charges all my money in minutes, is this happening to someone else?

Yes same here. But my problem is that my reach stopped at 200 although target group is 300,000. But for last 24 hours no further reach. I changed to PE now. About charging all the money in minutes, are you sure you selected cost per click? Seems like you selected cost per impression.

Stop, stop, just STOP. Stop generalizing and making assumptions based on hardly ANY testing. It is unfair to others for you to just claim "fb traffic doesn't convert", IT DOES. I paid my entire college tuition with facebook traffic. You are thinking so one dimensional, it hurts my brain. Listen! I'm not even going to explain it entirely to you, but I will share some things.

First, there are two types of items on FB. Items people think are "cool" or "cute", those are the items people LOVE to share, like and tag people in. These people are NOT buyers... because of "fb traffic does not convert"? WRONG.

Your item has to be an item people say either "WOW, I WANT THAT" or "WOW that is a great deal!"

You say you tried the products others sold? There is another problem! You tried selling items to people who have already been advertised to! HUGE MISTAKE!

You can either continue making excuses or actually spend WEEKS (not hours or days) testing and learning this method. Success takes weeks on fb ads, there is a ton of competition and you have to find the proper items to try to sell.

Once again, STOP making excuses and choose whether this is really something you want to succeed at or not.

If it would be that easy to make money with fb ads so anybody could just do this and nobody would still need a 9-6 job for actually making a LIVING.
What I stated are my experiences with fb ads. I did not one, two, or three .... I think maybe about 25-30 (not all with this method, just generally speaking).
People on fb easily like/tag/share if they like a product, but they do RARELY buy from facebook ads. I told you I got 800 likes and tons of comments, but actually ALMOST NOBODY really BOUGHT it. They COMMENTED they will buy, but did NOT.

I also said I sold products other sold, but NOT the exact same ones. E.g. if someone here sold a green Harry Potter necklace with gold chain, I sold a blue and a red one with silver chain and different picture on it. It is almost impossible to sell something that never anyone else sold before. Not only 10 people on BHW are doing this method!

Also, target groups are big, millions of users. I do not think that the other guy's ad already has been displayed to all the several millions of harry potter fans. Even if he already reached all, my item is different from him.

Also used an item that I did not see mentioned on BHW. Got 1 measly order. The profit I made has been eaten up by fb ad cost.

This method is really hard, you need a lot of time and money to put a foot on the ground with it.

And last but not least, if you want to buy something, do you go on facebook and search for it, or do you go on eBay and Amazon to search for it?

You're still making excuses... 25-30 ads is not even close to the amount you need to find successful products... wut? It takes 100's of items to find the best sellers sometimes...

Once again, like I said, people comment all the time saying they will buy but they don't. You have a "cool" or "cute" item but not one people say "WOW I NEED THAT." It doesn't matter what the comments say, what matters is your sales.

I never said this was easy, I said it was possible and profitable. Obviously people go to eBay and Amazon to purchase items, but that is ENTIRELY different than this method. This method is to find IMPULSE BUYERS, who can't help themselves to a "free" item. If you are comparing this method to general e-commerce, you need mental help.

That's the last I'll talk with you, since all you do is make excuses and try to claim to people fb traffic doesn't buy stuff.

For the NON excuse makers, here are my stats from yesterday. You can achieve this with just a bit of dedication and testing. As always, thank you Franklin for this method!

Day 7...

I finally found an ad that looks promising guys. 2, actually. Getting a 0.05 and 0.09$ CPC. It looks finally promising after 60$ spent in ads. I hope I hit the good ad! It's my 15th. Just so everyone knows you might not have this first shot.

I'll keep you guys updated wherever this is heading :)

Looks like your ads aren't running yet today. Most likely they will start after 12-24 hours. This happens with accounts that don't have a lot of spend yet.

anatho, don't give up. Keep posting here. It's good to hear both sides of the story. Just find what's wrong, try another product, record visitors behavior with a tool like inspectlet and try to figure out what you can improve in your store to increase conversions. Just don't give up!

I already have some niches in mind. What tools do you guys use to evaluate your niches? I usually use google trends and google keyword planner. Is there any other good alternative?
