The September 2022 core update (Here We Go Again!)

Google better reverse all the updates it did this year but I know it will be the last nail on the coffin on already dead websites.
 
imagine its 2015. You wake up in the morning, make yourself a coffee. your rankings are stable. no surprises. no bullshit. you know its August, so in two months there will be a panda Google update. you have time to prepare.


Google 2022 like a Marvel movie, random bullshit happens all the time, no one knows if its good or bad

I am wondering about the Google employees. Are they working independently from each other? Like is one group working on that update and the other one works at the other update? Or is it just the same group of people contiously working on the same algorithm/update? If yes, how is the quality management? I mean, in this velocity of how often and fast they release updates, how can they make sure the update is actually accurate and doesn't fuck up things?

This whole thing is just became so extremely intransparent. I am trying to imagine how these guys are coming to their office and then some bloke says "Oh yea, we just got notified we have to work on another core update for next week"
 
Well… so far I’m liking this update. I just gained the keywords I lost from the helpful content back AND I have shot up on Other keywords. Some I’ve never ranked even close to before… I sure hope this stays haha.

Just when things were looking good, saw a traffic drop yesterday and then this I know updates take a while but this one seems in action already that too just before q4 …l.
 
I see some fluctations of websites that were settled for years. I also see some old websites which got an algo penalty before to come back to the Top 20 from page 5/6. Weird so far. I will observe more.
 
G is taking samples of all the bad quality sites....feeding them into their AI model and then the AI classifies the bad apples from good ones just like their email spam algo. Its the way AI works and its very accurate. Of course it will take time for it to be accurate and also depends on the training data. A day will come when the AI will be good at fact checking and that will be the end of all the spammy clutter!

Agreed. The SERPs are atrocious. I consistently cannot find what I am looking for and I am baffled by some of the results for searches related to my client niches, especially long-tail queries. They have basically killed a lot of longtail searches.
