Hi,

I try to interlink as naturally as possible, but still can't do it for most of the pages, so I give space to the paragraph. Then write like this "Also, check out (main keyword)"
My concern is that both pages I internal link have no relationship in between, although it is related to my main niche, so will this impact my ranking?

And how many internal links are safe for 1000 words article?

I'd say 2-3 times per 1000 words, but this is not a rule of SEO, it's what I'd do to keep things safe

And if the content of the interlinked pages is not relevant to those pages, and especially to the anchor text used for inter-linking I don't think it will do you any good. It's not gonna hurt your site, but it won't improve your rankings, either... I think.

Just give it a try and see for yourself :)

Make a heading with one of the topics/keywords the page you want to link to is about inside of the heading. Write something that makes sense under the heading that is on the topic of the page you want to link to. Link to the page with either the keyword you want to rank that page for or put the keyword right by the link.

Experiment with this and you can figure out how to include the content in just about anything as long as what you are linking to is relevant to the article you are writing. If you can’t write content about the page you want to link to in the article you are currently writing, chances are you shouldn’t be linking to the other page anyway.

Absolutely.

The way you interlink and the pages you interlink send important signals to Google.

You have to understand that Google not only makes sense of websites in terms of keywords linking to each other.

It also tries to understand the context of each page.

This is why it's important to think of your website as a series of categories.

As much as possible, link contents within each category to each other.

Don't randomly link to different content in different categories because this might confuse Google.

Many people say that if you have a top-performing page, you should link to it from a certain percentage of your internal content.

That's misguided advice because you might confuse Google when it comes to context.

And if you're not careful, you might even end up confusing Google's categorization of the different pages on your site.

This can lead to lower rankings.

So focus on calling your flesh and blood visitors to click on internal links because you're using calls to action and context.

The interlinks help Google to understand the content better. You're passing the context by interlinking multiple articles. So, if you interlink an article about a trimmer with another article about anti-dandruff shampoo, then Google will pick related topics like hairfall, hair care, beauty products, etc and use this information to show Adsense ads and match your content to user's search intent.
