that once you REALLY start working on a project, you stop reading BHW as much, if not never checking it for days and weeks.

You stop looking at shiny new methods, new ebooks, new MEGA downloads of courses, new motivational threads, and tricks on how to make money online.

It's all noise, just noise. You stop giving in to the noise. You only need a couple threads and info to get started, a moment of clicking in your brain where things connect.

Then you close all the other threads, delete all the bookmarks you won't ever get back to that just sit there with no purpose besides giving you a little dopamine tingle because you *found a valuable thread that you will definitely use one day in the future*. And focus on the beautiful system you're creating right in front of you on a laptop screen, with full faith that you're gonna make it, realizing that it's not as hard as you once thought, and that you see it all clearly.

Information that you read but can not immediately apply in a way to find tangible results and feedback is wasted time, energy and mental space in your brain.

When I do come back, I look at the marketplace or JV, to find any good opportunities. Which in total is a couple of minutes.

Do I probably miss some valuable info? Sure, most likely, 100%. But does it really matter when you're putting in the work.

Don't let BHW become your new "social media that you check every 5 minutes" of choice, thinking that you're progressing.

It's just a moment you have to get to. If you want to make it.

While it is true, BHW is a better alternative to social media to get that dopamine hit. Atleast you learn something valuable at the same time.

There comes a point - in everyones IM journey - where they have no need to look for "new mehtods". They get the gist of every method. I've reached that point. Looks like you have too. That's when you make "real" money.

But it takes a while for a complete newbie.. We reached that point taking all the information in. By refreshing the forum often :D You've been there. I've been there.
 
Use BHW as a tool. You never know when your next bright idea will come. One things for sure if you are on here it will come to you.
 
Discipline yourself to do a 10 minute drill every day or so, to look around for apparently valuable new threads on BHW. Save them to a file, and schedule another time of the day or week to fully read them. If you have something you fell like replying, do a brief post that takes minutes off your total alloted time for browsing. This way you are best limiting your time on the forum, and getting your hormone high on later on. When it comes to your time, stay in control.

Absolutely. At the beginning you have to read intensively everyday, to ingrain IM and a Business mindset into your everyday thinking.

However for 70-90% of people who come as beginners on this forum, they stay in this period for way too long, indefinitely at times. This is my ultimate point.

Of course I've been there, I'm guilty of it. Since I joined in 2017, it took me 2 fucking YEARS to actually get started on a proper project. Till that point it was all just reading and mental masturbation.

This is what I want to warn beginners off. You only need a MONTH at MAX to read and understand what you want and need to do. Don't be like me and take 2+ years to fucking get started. Hell, start after your first week, do something.

Yes, creating a system and sticking to it.
 
At least on BHW I can read something useful unlike Facebook.

Here's the way I look at it...
So it took you 2 years of constant reading, studying, and mental masturbation to get you to the point to where you start earning.
For a BA in X, college generally takes you 3 - 4 years of constant reading, studying, and mental masturbation to get you to the point to where you can start earning.

If you apply the knowledge, that two years was just an investment. Nothing wrong with that, in my book.

Chill guys.

I merely wanted to know what's the value of looking out everyday. Because in my experience, whenever I check the home page, I only see things I'm not interested in buying, threads similar to those above and the odd beginner member asking how to make money online.

Sometimes you do find something good though.

And I mean no offense to BHW community. Clearly there are smart beings roaming over here. Maybe it is me, maybe I'm just looking at the wrong places.

True, but I think you can agree that it doesn't have to take that long. Like mentioned already, a month max is all you need. Any more than that is wasted time and potential

Another reason why checking daily puts you in the rabbit hole of these stupid threads, of either people complaining about shit in their lives and asking for help when they can't help themselves:D

Checking BHW everyday should only be to find threads and information that would help with your current project. And it feels like once you start making money BHW becomes a lot more useful, as you can then actually use the things people are advertising to help your biz, or join JVs to make more money.
 
What really happens is you start shitposting and wasting more time on BHW :D :D :D

Bro. to be truly successful online, you have to be totally disciplined, a complete necessity of time management is required. project yourself to action. Be serious and avoid procrastination. YES, that is the internet, before you know you will be deep into studying everything. Knowledge is good but it must be accompanied by action. Here there are tons of methods and downloads, at least you learn - better than watching porn and checking FB. The good point is that the notion of lack and growth will push you to do something sooner or later. My advice is to know what you want and do what it takes to get what you want, it is all in you.

Contrary to popular belief, not everything is so cookie-cutter.
All procrastination isn't bad. It's one of those words people like to throw around with a bad stigma attached, but some procrastination is good, depending on how it's used.

I do agree that one needs to take action, but again, inaction can be just as effective, if used correctly. For example, I have an "Amazon best seller" product. When I was first negotiating my manufacturing costs with my suppliers, I'd first do all my due diligence to determine what MY offer should be to them. I knew what would be a fair price, and so they didn't reply to me right away (all three companies (product company, case company, box company)), but I didn't let my fear of offering such a price kick in and cause me to prematurely increase my price. I used inaction. I waited. Painful as hell as it was the first time around, I did nothing. All three offers were accepted without question.

I'm not against people watching porn, and who am I to say that people should do otherwise? Perhaps once they finish watching porn, they can concentrate better and don't get side-tracked by beautiful people in display ads.

What if you are one of the people crushing it on Facebook? There's nothing wrong with being engaged on social media if that's how you thrive.

Look, I'm not saying I disagree with your post. You've got valid arguments. My experience has taught me that this IM space is so vast, there are literally infinite ways to succeed on the internet.
