This thread has gotten out of hand....Too bad because this was a good movie. I took it at face value though and believe it ended with the end....or did it? bwahahaha. I don't know, what are your theories because it seemed straightforward to me but maybe i missed something?

I never even saw this movie but I know whatever Diabolik says is wrong. I thought this was going to be his second decent post out of over 500 but then of course the crack pipe burnt his hand and he got carried away. I will definitely watch this movie within a week though since it sounds intriguing.
I agree with you and he's a major reason I watched this movie. He's got amazing range and has been acting in movies since he was like 10. He's great in Velvet Goldmine, I didn't even know it was him in that.

this is definitly the best movie i have watched, the movie was boring at first but then it got so exciting at the the ending which was completely surprising & unexpected although they were giving hints about it althrough the movie like when his wife was telling him on certain days that he loved her and other days she said he didnt.

I actually believe the movie is simpler than most people think. You think that there was something you had to figure out yourself. Well, I think Hollywood doesn't work that way, and that the ending is what it showed. Yes, there was a little bit of paranormal in it, and
all the time. And that was the big secret, and that's basically it.

Maybe there is more than meets the eye, there usually is. watch doonie darko a few times and you'll pick up hundreds of little things in it!
I bet with the prestige, since you know the ending, the 2nd time around you'll notice alot of things differently.
