The NSA's github page

I think some of these guys should just shut up and stick to generating their clients ahrefs report as they clearly don't understand how value-chaining in IM works - as an industry - in any industry, that there's more to being involved in IM than simply being a consumer.
Some people are just not going to get where we're coming from. I don't know why why but they're just not.
They're happier wearing their rose-tinted glasses feeling they 'know' everything there is to 'know' about pseudo-academic terms with ever-changing ramifications coined by technological companies that both "teach" and leverage the same ideas themselves for the sale of growth. Why burst their bubble? It's like if you'd ever met someone training for the special olympics who's telling you they're stronger than you and aregoing to be the strongest man in the world. What would you even say to them?

Nah man I don't know everything. I don't generate clients or anything like that either.

I just understand what the definition of something is and what it's not. If you ever have any electrical work in the future remember to call that plumber.

LOL you get to decide what IM'ers do and don't do? Seems like quite an abstract matter to make suggestions about tbh.

Hi Hanzo, I don't really decide anything. Nor am I trying to get you or anyone else to do or change anything.

I just commented on this thread, like all others who did.

This forum gets many posts from folks who don't realize we're not a hacking forum, because hackers also use Black Hat as a term.

Don't talk about debugging assembly, or PHP or even gnu licensing here. It's not IM!!!!

Nobody ever said that.

@t2van so you vow for ditching the coding related sub boards as they're not really IM related?

Nobody said this either.

You guys need to chill.

Have a nice day.

@t2van so you vow for ditching the coding related sub boards as they're not really IM related?

Course not, I never said that.

You need additional skills (if you have them) to code out a site or landing page... but if you can't code. Do you hire an SEO Expert or a Developer?

When you are coding that page are you coding or internet marketing.

Honestly.

IF "IM" was full of reverse engineering software guys or experts why hasn't anyone come up with a cheaper Ahrefs.
because ahrefs needs lots of servers and storage which is not cheap :)
but yes there aren't many in IM who are really good at coding and reversing, most just learn basic hobby coding to do some automation tasks for themselfs.

taken on the task fo breaking the google code and that.. after all thats where the money would be yeah?
and thats what many try - to reverse the google algo and figure out how it works. thats also reverse engineering even if there isn't a tool involved as the code/binaries of google cant be studied without having them.

There is no other reason to try and reverse code something from an IM stand point.
there are many reasons, take as an example instagram/tik tok/whatever app. people already reversed the code to see what its doing to automate it for IM.
without studying how a tool works, we can't automate it.

But nope doesn't happen because as I said in a "traditional" sense of IM that's not what it's about.
well the standard internet marketer cant do that and has to rely on the more advanced ones to produce the tools he needs, but someone's got to do it.
of course a coder with no IM knowledge can be hired, but someone who is into IM himself and can code/reverse is always better as he understands the needs of other IMs.

anyways no need to argue about this. you are right reversing is not the standard IMs thing, but saying its not part of IM at all is also wrong.

@Hanzo_AA sweeping statements again with no valid point

No valid point. Really? I guess that's a matter of perspective like most things here.

Enjoy your coffee.

I did thank you.

If you ever have any electrical work in the future remember to call that plumber.

Can I get one company that will handle electrics and plumbing, appliance installation and plastering and call them all skilled construction tradespeople, collectively or is that against the rules?

@t2van so you vow for ditching the coding related sub boards as they're not really IM related?

I thought a convergence like this was definitely a productive move too considering the dynamic elements that make up IM (i'm guessing the notion of innovation fit into it somehow surely) but but apparently some peoples definition of a thorough IM forum basically start and ends with wf

When you are coding that page are you coding or internet marketing.

I would say you are coding for the purposes of IM? If you can exchange thoughts and ideas with people involved in different markets within IM (yes that is a real thing) in the same place then I can see how any experience can be a lot more enriching professionally and how you can get work done more efficiently, it seems like common sense but maybe that's all against the way Wikipedia tells you to do and see things so you might not agree.
