For internal linking, placement really matters, mate. I usually target pages with consistent impressions, not dead content. Google picks up those internal changes much faster.
Haha, that's right. Traffic pages are the gold spots. It takes a bit more digging, but when you land an edit on a page pulling consistent organic traffic, the results flow much faster.You know what's sexier ? Put them on Traffic page links .

Definitely works if done carefully. Placing links in relevant, already ranking content can give a nice boost without looking spammy. The key is relevance and context make sure the link naturally fits the content, otherwise it can backfire.

Yes, @tiiberius. The link itself isn’t the magic, it’s where it sits. Ranking pages already have that trust flow built in.
Yeah 100% @DojaCat. Traffic pages with clean on page bring steady lift without overdoing it.
I’ve seen edits on off topic pages tank instead of help, so relevance really is everything @RankFoundry.

That's the best part of niche edits. If the page is getting traffic, then you should probably get links from there.
