The next Instagram: keek.com?

the site sure has potentials...but then again, not everybody should understand that ;)

Well it does not hurt to check it out and maybe think about marketing efforts down the road.
Remember a early start means allot.

Mike

Everyone is trying to find a way to make a new social media kind of gig some are flops but this one seems like it has potential.

hmm looks interesting. Definitely worth to check it out and see if theres $$$ to be made

XXXXX has already filled the niche, these new sites will never take over.

This has been said a million times before. And will be said a million times in the future, incorrectly.

More related to the OP. Can anyone explain the difference between Youtube and this Keek site?

Byebye instagram, keek is going to be huge ! Already on it.

lol originally when i saw keek, i thought someone made a typo and meant to say keke lol

Saying something like this is retarded.

Instagram and Keek are totally different platforms, who target different type of people. There will always be people who upload their morning breakfast to instagram to get attention, no matter how big Keek becomes.

I still have my doubts about Keek, I mean, will you record your morning breakfast and upload the video to that social network? But well, there are many other things to share. The real competition for Keek is Youtube.

I didn't say that keek will be bigger than instagram. I'm just stopping marketing on instagram to start on Keek.

Well I understand it from a Black Hat money-making perspective. What I meant though was why the general public is so infatuated with these sites. Twitter for example is nothing but Facebook status updates but without everything else Facebook has. Yet people act like it's something revolutionary. Instagram and Pinterest are just sites where people upload photos from what I understand, but there have been sites like that forever.

Its revolutionary in the same way that Apple removing the DVD drive from an MBP is a step forward :-)

Im tool old to understand it all and I share your sentiments. If I was a teenager, I woudnt be writing that, instead id be posting some dumb-ass pic that would be worth a thousand words...

The internet is finding its Lowest Common Denominator (egs.edu/ faculty/ jean-baudrillard/ articles/the-global-and-the-universal). That's our 'progress', folks. Apparently, Web 1.0 was all about people finding information. Web 2.0 is all about "people finding people" in an information-rich environment.
Just, no one with a life or half a brain would want to be found by such people - unless theres $ to be made

Well, keek has a lot of potential but its early to say if it can be big as Instagram or even bigger

Keek? Hate the name. Sounds like either a racial slur or a woman's body part.

But then again I thought Google and Twitter were terrible names.

Keek is a Scottish slang word meaning "Dog shit". :/
