The video microsharing site launched about a year after Instagram, and has already generated 12 million dollars in venture capital. It looks like early adopters are already developing autofollow and followback bots and tagbots, and there appear to be a small number of keek videos taking a watermark/direct promotion approach to bizops and similar offers. Their latest round of venture capital will probably be focused on promoting the service. With app store promotion and celebrities like the Jenner girls hopping on the bandwagon, it could explode quickly. There have only been 2 or 3 mentions of the site prior to this on BHW. Interesting to speculate who's getting a head start on monetizing this while it's under the radar.
