The Next Big 'Get Rich Quick' Idea...

I have a theory. Once every 3-5 years somewhere there is a 'Get Rich Quick' opportunity born. It's not always IM. It's not always in the same niche, or even the same business sphere... but the opportunities come. I'm talking about the things that you hear people kicking themselves over saying "shit if I knew about that back then I'd be rich now" type of stuff.

But first let me preface you with my history.

Back when BitCoins were but a baby and you could mine dozens of them a day with a moderate gaming rig I tried to get a friend of mine to go into it with me and mine. He convinced me not to bother. Could have been a millionaire.

Back when Blackhat SEO was in its early spamming days I had an offer to join a colleague in spamming the payday loan niche. Missed out, could have made millions.

So here we are today. And the reason I'm posting this is that I look for the next big thing each and every morning hoping to catch a whiff of something. I watch tech news, financial, health, tons of niche news sources hoping to see something that the people close to that niche are getting excited about that hasn't hit the rest of us yet. And it has been almost 5 years since the last time I heard anything. So I believe that right about now if the time that something is due to come around. So I'll pose the question to all of you here... given this cycle have you heard anything out of the ordinary in any news circles, forums, or niches you follow?

Build a service that people want to use and get 50,000 subscribers. Boom

If you don't start on something, you'll never get to those millions. It's better to get something going immediately and use the slight edge every single day to build up slowly than wait for that miracle to come. I can tell you right now there's "big things" every month if you search wisely enough for it, but you have to be willing to GO.

I was kicking myself too when I heard BitCoin had become mainstream. Then I thought it was too late to get into it.

Then I kicked myself again when they went from $250.00 to $1,000.00 in 24 hours.

May already be too late to really get ahead of the market for this, but VR technologies are going to take off in a very big way in the next few years - this is something that is already starting to happen on a big scale and will only continue to grow, not just for gaming but a whole range of other industries too. If you can find a good way to get in to it then you could make some big bucks.

One example . Something that has already started.
There are plenty of other ways it can be utilised though.

We have evolve so much that have forgot about our nature and when all technology gets down , we wont even know how to grow a tomatoe.

So the next big move is to learn the basics, go back and see who we are what we need and leanr just in case.

This is too dramatical and too extreme, but it could happen .

For me agricultural was and is the biggest trillion dollar move, and if someday we do not have electricity, internet ...anything, agricultural knowledge would still be there and would stilll bring millions.

If you want my opinion on what I think the "next big thing" will be, I would say augmented reality (AR).

We've already seen a lesser form of it with the Pokemon Go craze, but imagine if AR were done right using a dedicated device. I know Google tried and failed at this with Google Glass, but they weren't considering practicality when they made that; nobody wants to put on some goofy glassses with blinking LEDs, no matter how hip you try to make them look. But if someone could make an "eye phone" using contact lenses (something many people already use every day), I could see this blowing up more than Pokemon Go did.


On another note, I've been keeping up with these contact lenses (well, the idea of them at least) since I first read about them in 2008.
