The new G algorithm - new sites disappearing constantly

The good news is that my site is ranking #5 in Bing and Yahoo....my ass...i want back the ranking in Google. More good backlinks needed :captain:

Pretty much exactly the same story for me. #5-8 in a pretty competitive niche, site 4 months old, really good content compared to competition, decent backlinks (diversity, anchor variation, hardly any spam links). Now i'm being outranked by a site with obviously badly spun content and 100% spam backlinks. I wouldn't mind if the sites that were outranking me now were much better... but they're not.

Only 5 pages ranking in the top 100 results out of the 25 pages on my site. And these pages are ranking for the wrong terms.

So confused.

I'm having this same issue, I was ranked #5 for a 220k search keyword, #1 for a 8.5k search keyword and now I am bouncing from page 1 2 and 3, everytime I seach randomly throughout the day I rank differently.

I have a few clients who were completely removed, they aren't banned just not ranking at all. Its crazy. I wish there was an explanation for this.

i hate google SECG really hopeless for that,

I have dozens of web sites that were ranking well for months and still are. The update did nothing to me. I have a few sites that are new and still moving up the serps.

Based on what i am seeing, it's not off-page seo as much as it is on-page seo.

These web sites are using all sorts of different linking strategies, most myself and a few from the BHW services section. That is why I believe it is more on-page seo.

Anyone that cares, this is how I do my on-page seo.

I make sure my title and meta tags are relevant and never repeat keywords more than once. Have your content 500+ words or more and UNIQUE. The more words you have, the better, in my opinion. I try to shot for a 1,000 words. Keep your keyword density well below 1%. Only have a couple ads, and if you use affiliates links, use a php redirect. On the php redirect links I use nofollow attribute and block the file in the robots.txt.

I hope this will help you.

Yeah i like that moment :p. Google dance means my backlinks is already and still works!

Is there anyone here that constantly makes new sites? If so, have you noticed them constantly dancing and disappearing off the SERPs even after minor (very minor) backlinking? I'm baffled by this, all my new sites go away and return in ~2 day intervals and some of those have like 5 links total. Anything more than ~10 web 2.0s will send the websites into oblivion for weeks. WTF?? Anyone willing to share their opinion/experience with this? This is in the last month or so, previously I haven't noticed such drastic dances. :p In addition to this, non-EMDs take like 5 years to rank anywhere. Keyword.com ranks in a week or so, keywordS.com isn't in the top 300 after three weeks. WTF? How is one more relevant to the search than the other. It just has an "s".

PS. If you are going to say keep adding content and building links don't bother - we all know that :)

Before two days my site was in top 100 SERP results but now it's no where in ranking.. :(

it happens and you have to move with the time. Just know if you have unique content you will have a chance to comes back in indexing.
