The new G algorithm - new sites disappearing constantly

Is there anyone here that constantly makes new sites? If so, have you noticed them constantly dancing and disappearing off the SERPs even after minor (very minor) backlinking? I'm baffled by this, all my new sites go away and return in ~2 day intervals and some of those have like 5 links total. Anything more than ~10 web 2.0s will send the websites into oblivion for weeks. WTF?? Anyone willing to share their opinion/experience with this? This is in the last month or so, previously I haven't noticed such drastic dances. :p In addition to this, non-EMDs take like 5 years to rank anywhere. Keyword.com ranks in a week or so, keywordS.com isn't in the top 300 after three weeks. WTF? How is one more relevant to the search than the other. It just has an "s".

PS. If you are going to say keep adding content and building links don't bother - we all know that :)

Yeah, my site jumps 100s of places every day, but never up to anything higher than 10 - literally doing my nut in. I had dozens of page 1 rankings in Dec/Jan, but nothing since.
 
I hate it when search engines change algorithms... Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I'm doing okay with non-EMDs. It hard to say in your case. If you are doing the same link building and seo for keyword.com and keywordS.com then something is up.
 
It seems the new G algo is wary of new sites acquiring backlinks by default, and wants to discourage the proliferation of MNS by de-indexing to the point where stable income is not possible, or else it's out and out random. This may be especially true for sites using Adsense, since that's money G has to pay out as a result of a high ranking leading to more clicks. As some have argued, Adsense runs out of money at times to pay out, so it compensates by random de-indexing, or random Adsense suspensions.
 
Definitely experiencing the same thing with ALL my new sites for the past month now.


Not deindexing, but being non existant in the SERPs even with NO competition on all my new sites.

Google releases a new algorithim every month as they continue to target spammy backlinks. This has been going on for over a year.

When someone clicks on a adsense ad both the adsense account owner and Google are making money. So wouldn't it beneft G to have more adsense clicks?
 
I think they have changed their trust algo/score. Not sure on what makes a site trustworthy or not now. Some sites rank instantly with no back links. Others will not rank at all. Maybe the sandbox is a longer period, if you meet some new criteria. I currently suspect my Whois info and ip of my sites. Maybe a combo of the two in Googles new trust score.
 
Seeing the exact movements. Not only in new sites, but aged domains that i acquired and put up new content on. And these are not backlinked from day 1 right away, i have at least waited a month and a half before starting any kind of linking. Dances between 100, 300, 500, 50, 150, 300, nowhere.. Looks like it wont stop dancing too. Things are definitely changing on a major level, as these backlinks used to rank top 20 for me every time. At this point it is better to watch and wait for the dust to settle.
 
On a second glance, sites started disappearing that have zero links (3 bookmarks to index). However, all my disappeared sites were registered in the same 2-3 days timeframe. This would make it about 10-13 days till disappearance. Can anyone confirm this time period :) How stupid of google - purposefully remove the site for some time to make the owner paranoid.
 
I see dancing but not the disappearing. Once they are on the radar they seem to stay there pretty much.
 
I've got a site at #2 that is an EMD with only a AMR blast for backlinks. Hasn't moved at all :\ as far as i can see anyway!
 
yup no movement here too. constant 3rd rank for past 2 weeks. i just gave 2000 bookmarks powered by xrumer profiles and posts and scrapebox comments. make sure you don't start building lot's of contextual links fast. go slow for the first month.
 
I'm seeing Google has started to rank some pages of my site for other keywords. Example:

page A - targets keyword A but page B ranks for keyword A

It's like Google isn't sure anymore which page to rank for what keyword ... I'm going crazy here trying to understand what's happening
 
They start to filter out website that doesnt meet the requirement.

I hope I'm not one of it.
 
One of my sites stopped getting traffic for some of its old keywords... even though the rank still appears to be the same. It is getting longtail traffic now that it hasn't had before. Mhhh...
A new Site I registered a week ago hasn't been picked up by Google yet...even though I tried to get it indexed... it is on the same IP with my other websites.
I hate all these changes... I think I will just ignore all of this and keep building links. lol
 
Sadly this is looking like it for me with SEO. All my sites have been hit and most have dropped ranking completely. Ironically I think the new changes will only make google less relevant in the long run....
