The Interview

Sony can't even stop screwing up, they didn't even put any DRM protection on the video.

Thank you for the link :)

This is an Internet Marketing Forum

Boy they let "just anyone" in as a Jr. VIP, don't they.

To OP: I'm downloading it now from Kickass Torrents. They have several sizes depending on the resolution that you want.

I like Seth Rogen so I was planing on watching it before the whole thing happened. But yea, that's a HUGE marketing hit, didn't cost much, the media is advertising the movie for free more or less.
Other possible costless marketed scenarios: same movie but with Russian president Putin.
And another with the Iranian leader can't remember his name.

So is the movie a satire on America's obession with making fun of North Korea?

You should pay for it if you live in the US, it's only $6.

It takes me longer to whip out my credit card than it takes to download it. They won't miss my six bucks, enough people will pay for it to make them a fortune.

Its not even worth $6, I watched it earlier today and its so freaking stupid, luckily I used Kickass to get it for free.

I wonder why, lol... ;)

BTW this shit (like most movies starring rogen, lately imo) goes from horrendous to abysmal so load up yer torrentz but don't get your hopes too high.. You might end up being a tad more than disappointed by this smart advertising stunt... ;)

I just watched the movie and i liked it. Better than expected.

Another B***S*** American movie trying to start, end or cover something with this big news. Maybe they just want to cover up something.

I really don't like this type of movies, country against country.

Isn't it clear to you all?

Culture is not your friend!

What would Sony try to be covering up with a comedy movie?

Can't you see the message the movie is sending? The actors which play the roles of "X" and "Y" are sent to N. Korea to kill the President, you can see it in the trailer online.

After the hackers aka CIA, FBI, or even North Korean government hacked the servers of Sony and sent out disturbing messages to employees and so on.

The hack was most likely an inside job not a conspiracy.

What is logic behind releasing movie online and making it US only? They are leaving money on the table.

Its because of outdated distribution deals and licensing, some movies may spend close to a year or more "blocked" in certain countries because of the deals.

I am going to pay and watch it tonight just on principle. Even if the movie sucked I would
be fine showing support for it. Glad Sony got a spine and decided to release it!

The worst part of the movie is how they potray Kim Jung Un as some kind of bad guy, when in reality he is like super cool. He is only 31 yet in the top 50 most powerful people in the world.

he also controls a few million people, totally rules there life like a king, kills people for 0 reason, and repressess millions.

Totally cool.

There were never any charges brought on his grandfather and his father, and they'll probably won't be any charges brought upon him. So until he is charged and found guilty at an International Court, I will consider him innocent of any of the crimes the media says about him.
