Heh.. This thread has inspired me and gave me so much hope.. My wife and I are due to have a baby.. and she has been sooo stressed at work.. I told her I dont want her stressing so she can quit in 2 months.. Now I have an oppurtunity thanks to you guys to give her some work so we dont go flat broke lol.. I am new to all this stuff and this seems like the most reasonable thing.

She loves to write too..

dont be harsh to brown. hes new and its good to see someone new giving back rather than just leaching. it would be good if all these ideas in this thread were collated in an ebook as we do get noobs asking the same questions over and over again.

I'm going to need a big financer on this see like $10,000.

Imma going to copy AC. put up a site like it. have people submit shit worth 0.20cents to a dollar maybe.

plug in some advertising and shit and BOOM

instant articles and Money. of course I can hire poeple to be shit ass editors.

yes you can, as long as the approval rate is above 2% it's fine lol.

That would be article based like 1 cents per articles. if you approve a hundred a day you can have a dollar.

if one AC account you submitted more than 30 articles per day...usually the editor would not check ALL that 30 articles at once...it will be spread out...it can be next day..or even afew days later..am i right kristi ?? :D

About the articles..yah..i encounter the same situation...

Got once...only 1 of my article was check...and the rest around 10 was not check...and it was submitted at the SAME day ! stupid editors !! lol :D Weird..
 
So they payout performance payment on the 10th of every month. I just went into my account and saw that I have pending performance payment.

Hey Kristi, I obviously didn't see your travel articles so I don't know just what you wrote (so if my suggestion doesn't apply, ignore me). I've found that keywords are pretty much everything with AC.

If you do keyword research and use a tool to filter your keywords by highest adwords bid, those at the top get high offers if they're accepted (which makes sense since AC's income is off the ads). They also look at your how often your keyword is searched but I've never seen a stat on whether they have a cutoff point, or what it is.

Once you've picked a high-bid keyword phrase, if it doesn't have a lot of competition on AC then it's pretty much an automatic acceptance with a decent offer (from my experience - and I've submitted 3 or 4 articles a week to AC for about a year just when I have spare time to kill).

My point is that even if your articles were great, travel keywords tend to either have crap adwords bids or an absolute ton of competition.

This might not help anybody since it seems most here use the "Throw a lot of shit at the wall and hope some sticks" method of article writing and keyword research would too much trouble, but since you offer writing services I figured you might be interested in what I've observed. :)

AC pays crap :p. My average is about $4 per article. I only submit a couple of articles there or take a couple of articles at textbroker a couple times a week if I have a couple hours to kill. I do write articles freelance as my main income, but when my customers all happily pay me $15 an article and I only get $4 at AC it really sucks. I'm just hoping that after a couple of years the page view income will be enough to pay a small bill like my DSL bill.

I keep my AC and textbroker income separate from my freelance income and use that to build my own sites.

Good night Peter, I see you have broken the 1000 post mark before going off to bed. :)

AC sucks these days! think at some point I'm going start to focusing more on performance payment than up front payment. But I would have to use the very first account that I created a long time ago before I really knew much about AC.
