What differentiates the marketer from the "marketers"?And why is it that some people struggle to make $100 per month...while others can easily make $10,000+?
The difference primarily lies in the mentality.
When you are performing your marketing, what is on your mind as you write out your copy...or creating your product...or writing your affiliate reviews...anything.
If you're thinking, "Oh man, I can't wait to make a lot of money doing this!", then your chances of actually making that buck may not actually happen.
However, if you think in terms of, "Oh man, I'm excited to provide real value to real people who need an answer!", then suddenly, your chances of success increases exponentially.
Why? Because value is a huge determining factor as to the ultimate growth and success of companies.
VALUE IS WHAT YOU STRIVE FOR!
Let's take a few examples.
Everybody thinks that Apple is a big success due to their tech innovation. This is true, to a certain degree. But what they really did was provide extra value to their customers.
MP3 players and the technology was around for a while before the iPod even came out. However, iPods gave users the uber simplicity of design, as well as functionality. This translated to value innovation, not tech innovation.
Next, let's look at the shoe distribution giant Zappos. Selling shoes online wasn't a new thing...but what they saw was that the value of it can be increased dramatically. Zappos understood that people like to try on different sizes, colors, styles, etc before deciding which pair they ultimately want to buy.
So they created an immense amount of value innovation by bringing the "department store shopping experience" right into your home. "Order as many shoes as you'd like and return the ones you don't want for free" was their tagline.
No wonder they became a billion dollar business in such a short amount of time.
YOU, the marketer...listen up.
Yeah, you.
Stop thinking about your own selfish wants. All you see in MMO forums is, "how can I make $100 a day?" How can I do this...I I I I I
Instead, think about how you can provide value to a targeted group within an industry.
Really, actually, and genuinely care to fulfill their pains and needs.
Suddenly, all of your own desires and dreams will be filled as a by-product of YOU providing value innovation to your clients.
And the world continues to go round.
I hope that was helpful...Love you BHW
