The old game is done. I just concentrate on answering real questions and solving genuine issues. If you offer something truly helpful, those who need it will discover it. That's the real approach.

How old is your blog ? Did you make other changes and did seo ? The rankings might be because of those other factors as well.

However, you are right that good content is needed to rank.
 
Totally agree, focusing on intent over keyword stuffing works way better now. I usually do light keyword research, then just write naturally around the topic so it feels human and still ranks well.

What does the process look like? How do you estimate what the target audience is looking for?
 
Voice search is making a difference. Earlier Google used to spoon feed users to search exactly like others. Now voice search made personalized searches return. The users can ask however they want instead of following search suggestions. Casual writing style, direct titles, and straight answers without bs are getting rewarded.
 
Yes, Keyword research still matters, but focusing on intent first helps Google connect your content with what users actually want.

Exactly. Stuffing keywords is dead. Focus on solving real problems and matching intent that’s what Google rewards now.

For english language content surely the things have changed a lot, but if you can work on more regional languages old techniques might work. For me a regional language website is performing pretty good.
