Hello, as I have not made any sales in the past 90 days, CB are now charging me $1 per week. And at the end of the next 90 days, if I have not made any sales - I will have to close my account :(

This is why I have started a new site. It is on dieting and recipes (not telling specifics).

However, can I have some tips to direct good traffic to it that will convert? I'm not going to use Facebook ads at the moment because I have learned my lesson from that one.

Those are very competitive niches and I would NOT recommend them unless you are very experienced in IM.
Pick smaller, more targeted health niches, and find products with gravities 5-25 as these are the easiest to promote.

People are advising him to promote under FB, but he already said he is against Facebook Ads.

May I know what is this reason?

It costs too much and it is not worthwhile - unless you know what exactly to target, trust me

I would suggest promoting on social media sites such as Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter... These are good for the niche that you have.
