The Copywriting Checklist!

Steven,

I know you posted this awhile back, but what is your opinion of copying old classic copy ads or even new ones. Is this a worthwhile thing to do?

Thanks

Lots of smart copywriters recommend LITERALLY copying out word for word successful old school ads and articles from successful copywriting legends like Gary Halbert.

Why copy them out by hand?

So that you can really get a feel for why they use the words they use, the pacing, etc.

Wow, I'm sure this will help me a lot. Keep up with the good work StevenJones and have a nice day ;)

Huge thanks for you collecting and posting this information :shakehand

It is interesting. I will print it somehow I can use it anytime I write an article. I remember I saw such tips on BBT, social triggers and copy bloggers but they don't come in mind when you're writing, really. The checklist is useful because you'll reserve a time to review the article before hitting the publish button.

Will save these ones for sure
But won't agree with u about humor, in some niches it definately sells :p

Very good times, specially I like your tip "don't sell product, sell solution" ;)
