I was just reading a thread in the Lounge titled "Is anyone else tired of failing?" and it got me thinking.
Some people fail and end up with zero money, but others (like me) achieve a decent income (three times the national average in my case) and stop there, failing to make more. We are mentally trapped there.
They reach their comfort zone and are unable to earn more; they don't have the mindset to earn more because nobody in their family earns more. I could say they lack the millionaire mindset.
I suppose many, if not all, who come from middle or lower-class families go through this stage, when only their mindset is holding them back from earning more.
What is the secret to overcoming this?
Because honestly, deep down, I want to earn more. Some days I think about that and start working hard, but the next day I feel mentally exhausted and want to relax, and everything falls apart.
Then, after a few days, feeling guilty of procrastination, the burning desire to do more returns, I start working hard and the next day I give up again.
I hate these waves and don't know how to overcome them. I want to make the desire to have more burn, and give my best every day, without quitting.
