If your not located within the USA then the FTC part is of no concern to you.
GSM modems suck, especially those from China, they send about 10/min while a Shockwave 308 can send 70-140/min depending on signal strength.
The text should contain whatever you want it to, something to direct user to a mobile optimized website to complete your offer. I just posted one as an example which generated well over $500,000 last year.
I recommend Shockwave 308 modems + SmsCaster + Custom tool to allow Spintax and tokens.
You are absolutely correct that a GSM modem from China averages about 10/min. But you can use their 8 port, 16 or 32 port and increase it up by 8, 16 or 32 times. I have not seen a Shockwave 308 yet. Will definitey research it. Thanks for pointing the way.

Use ReadySim with Mail to Sms? Thats not even a question, or it doesn't make sense. Mail to sms = smtp thus you dont need sim cards but its junk. Sim card = true sms. Sim + SmsCaster + Shockwave 308 modem is the key
I send SMS by converting the cell number into a email address based on the carrier (done with private software) then sending via a rotating ip cluster server. Like you I also spin the text and link. Method works fairly well and able to send out a few hundred per minute. Any experience with this? Would love to have a chat with you.

Does anyone have experience coding for sending sms? Theres an app I found out about that pays people to send sms through their phone service but I don't have any phone service, can't afford it. I'd like someone to possibly hack it? I have the information about how the app works and its badly coded from reviews I've read about it.
