To add to this: I’m not sure if you think account deletion will delete your content but it won’t. Your content will still be here. It just won’t be attributed to your account name anymore. It will be attributed to Deleted member 237488593 (or something like that).

I think his name still shows up in quotes, though.... I remember that I've seen this some days ago when I was checking old threads and noticed that one of those "Deleted member 2431234312" showed his account name, but I don't remember the circumstance, but it did :)

I don't think there's any need for comments like this. Especially towards such an innocuous post. Everybody reaches different stages in their life where they want to move on to different things and put certain things behind them. I don't see anything inherently dramatic from the OP and it's nice of them to drop in and say goodbye.

Deleted member 923340 I don't know if our paths ever crossed in the short time I've been here but I wish you all the best going forward and you're always welcome back.
