It's great to have you back! :)

Shit man, how did I not know about your brush with death?

Glad you're ok though.

Yea, it was close bud. I don't have the exact link right now, but my wife posted a thread about my condition.

Hope your back and back to your best, hopefully you can continue posting on this forum :)

Well. I will keep all posts just as status quo for now until I take care of prior business. I don't feel it is right to post anything else until all is takin care of. But I will be watching :)
Hey buddy,

I'm glad the community was able to help you through the rough time.

Send me a PM if you are having difficulties paying your bills, finances, etc and I might be able to help out.

Hey bud. Thanks for the offer. That is very nice of you, but I think we are gonna get this done on our own.
Welcome back James. It's really great to see that your health
has been improving. We were getting extremely concerned.

Take it slow and easy brother, and send my respect and thanks
to your lovely wife. She did a great job at keeping us informed. :)

Cheers! - Your Pal - "Wiz"

Thanks wiz. It is always good to hear from you, and I was happy to see you post to my wifes thread. I will try to take it slow, but it will be hard. I was actually moving too fast the other night. I tried to walk a little and my legs buckled and now I have a sprained knee. Oh well lol. Just don't want to depend on my wife so much :)

Hi James, feeling great that you're able to be here with us today. And I wanted to tell you that you've got a great companion there at your side, and we all are proud of her... She kept her own strength increasing while she brought you back from the depths. SHE is your real strength, and with her you'll be back on top soon. God Bless you both. Don't also worry about the kids, they too will join you soon. So be it! Amen!

Keep Smiling, while you move back to the top of things! I know You WILL! :)

Thanks bud. As I read all of my wifes thread I noticed that you always had long and encouraging posts. Thank you for the confidence you helped give me. :)

Glad to hear you are doing better. Hope you get back on your feet again soon!

All the best

John

You know I miss ya, and everyone else here. Thanks bud :)

Glad to see you're back James. I was really worried when i saw what you're going through. Wish you all the best and hope you'll recover 100% soon.

I won't lie. I was worried too lol, but I am starting to see the sun light now :)

And to everyone else..... Thanks for all of your support. I couldn't do this without support, and this forum has offered plenty of it.

GOD BLESS :)

Well, I have fully decided that I will be creating a 501c non-profit to help raise awareness for blood clotting disorders. And part of what I will do is travel from city to city and go to hospitals to help encourage others like myself. So I will be taking $75 from my wifes check this week and starting a website with wufoo integration and post an employment ad so people can go door to door selling raffle tickets. To help understand why this is so important to me, just read the facts about clotting disorders here Each year 100,000 - 180,000 americans die from this. That is the population of a small city! I have always wanted to start a non-profit that helps, so I think I have found my calling :)

Also in researching I came across a site where I read something alarming.....

"Group 1 disorders include anti-thrombin deficiency, protein C deficiency, and
protein S deficiency. Group 2 disorders include activated protein C resistance
(Factor V Leiden mutation), prothrombin G20210A mutation, and elevated levels of
Factors VIII, IX, and XI. In general, the Group 1 disorders are less common but more
likely to cause abnormal clotting than Group 2 disorders. Patients with Group 1 disorders
usually have their first DVT at a young age, have a higher likelihood of recurrence, and
are more likely to have a family history of DVT or PE than patients with a Group 2
disorder."

Read more here

The reason this is alarming is because I have protein c deficiency which falls into category 1, and is why I had one at such a young age..... I just hope and pray it skips my babies.

Good luck on starting a non-profit organization. This will help a lot of people who were in same condition like you.

Welcome back - if you've proven anything, it's that NOTHING can knock you down for long, even near-death. Best of luck with the non-profit and all the personal battles - we're all thinking of you and praying for you...

Oh my goodness, a lot has happened in your life, James. I haven't been on in a while and just signed on today to a pm and your threads. I am so sorry for all your hardships and heartaches. I may be able to help you with your children. If you would like me to try, pm me your name, addy, and case number and I will pass the info along to someone who will try to help.
