Testing Out BHW Methods: Real Estate Keywords

I picked up an expired domain at auction in the real estate space. Great branding, no one bid on it (no real metrics or history). I have decided to focus on a sector within real estate. Keyword research is complete, just need to cluster. I will get the site up and running at some point and aim to publish a couple of articles per week.

For this project, I want to build a brand and eventually start a listing service for rentals/condos for sale. I'm going up against big players, but it's a niche that interests me. Build out the blog solidly, get traffic, and pivot into a listing service down the road.

strong focus on branding/EEATT. There's some semi YMYL/Finance related keywords within which I aim to have guest post experts write on the blog to help with EATT. Most likely pay to publish and a link to their site. I want real experts so I can build credibility. Some great ideas I have and a project that could be big and have a lot of fun with.

I've also picked up a few other domains I wish to develop in the real estate space.

furnished rentals CITY .com x 2
NEIGHBORHOOD condos (can't remember if it has for sale or it's just neighborhood condos .com, think it's the latter). This is an area of NYC. So condos are expensive. Lot of fun for this project as well.

@Holzr Do you monetize it somehow?
The new projects?

Display ads and charging owners/real estate agents to list their properties for rent/sale. But that's long way down the line. Need traffic first.

The furnished rental one has a lot less competition and good metrics.

Main competition charges $99 per year to list and in one of my areas has 500+ listings, I'd imagine similar in the other city (which is close by).

Bummer! It looks like I didn't bid on the condo domain.

I got a course on Programmatic SEO last night I've been going through which has given me ideas for test sites. Watch this space. It should be easy to repeat this journey at scale and get some good data whilst making content a little better I think.

Is the program shareable or direction to ear you got it from would be handy .

There's some stuff I knew, but I'm learning a lot. A lot of it is stuff I've wanted to do but never really knew how to do, so this has opened up a lot of ideas. For local, for example, I can think of a lot of use cases with home values and census and demographic data, among others, to help create unique content.

------

I'm on ~1,500 keywords (info) for the site, which I've just clustered (Low Fruits IO) to ~175 groups. There is lots of work to do. I'll be making a new journey thread shortly, and I'll post the link here. I want to test a bunch of stuff I'm learning on threads shortly.

There are sooo many opportunities in local seo and in general IM...

I might do the same idea for my city, specially short term rentals, big spenders

Really cool stuff in here again... question, are you using WordPress for this and if so, are you using a directory type theme?

Are this auction sites for USA only or they have worldwide sites?
