Hi

Lately I have been learning about facebook marketing so I started to run ads, and I had a very bad result. I got like 2 like and I lose 12 euro. So I went through internet to learn more about facebook ads. I hear many people saying stuff like : 'You have to test your ads with CMP' I dont know exactly what they mean.

I though They meant that If your CMP rate is good then you can change it into CPA. I am not sure though.

WHat is average CMP rate when it comes to Facebook ads.

Thanks in advance
cheers

Just to clarify, is not CMP si CPM ( cost per mile ),you pay per 1000 impresions not for clicks, anyway im not into facebook ads so i cannot help you with the rates.

Ads on Facebook do work, and they work really well, however, to get the first likes you will need to pay quite a lot more, but over time, your campaign will receive a lot of real likes for few $.

For one of my "get likes" campaign I have spent a total of $180 so far ($10 a day); the first day I received 15 likes, the second 40 and then it gradually increased until I reached the 100 likes a day around day 7-8. Now I am some days hitting the 200 likes for just $10 bucks, usually I get 80-150/day

/e: btw, doing CPC for likes is absolutely stupid. Unless you are targeting a super tiny niche.

Ah Like that Coz I didn't had any like So I DELETED the whole camp, instead of just deleting the ads or changing them. anyway thx for the help will continue with the journey

If your cost-per-click is good, you want to go to cost-per-thousand. Test your ad with CPC.
