Telegram spam: Have you ever seen/done anything like this?

Hey people.

I've been recently added to a Telegram group with a very elaborate spam strategy unlike anything I had seen before.

This is something I'd love to use for my own projects but I'm not even sure of what it's called. If you offer a service like that or can recommend someone who does, please let me know. Or, if you want to see how to build an impressive spam campaign (in my opinion), read on.

I won't be sharing screenshots, so, turn on your wild imagination for this one.

The deal
They were pushing an engagement-for-money setup, complete tasks on Instagram to get paid, promising earnings of up to $400/day.

How it was done

• A group was created at 08:08 (I was added 50-60 minutes later).
• It was pre-seeded with messages in my language likely translated by AI because wording lacked consistency and had some odd phrasing. Still, good enough.
• Admin starts off with a regular greeting. Another group memebers greets back.
• Third message is the hook, admin introduces the $400/day "opportunity".
• Conversation becomes a Q&A where initial group memebers (aka. bots) start asking questions: How does it work? How do I get my money out? etc.
• Group admin replies to the questions and introduces the first task offering a $5 cashout.
• To get the cashout you have to DM an account with a screenshot and a code. I'm guessing this is a bot that'll continue to give out next tasks and the code is a conversion tag for this group.
• An initial group members "finishes" the task showing that they had followed the Instagram page and quickly thereafter post a screenshot of a payout on my local p2p payment app. On this screenshot, phone time and payment completion time match (it's 08:26), and the screenshot is posted in the group at 08:27. Guessing that the screenshot is generated for this specific group.
• Then there are a few other messages with other initial group members showing off their earnings.
• Lastly, at around 09:00 a bunch of real people are added including myself.
• The conversation goes on and bots follow the script. They completely ignore my messages so there is no AI interactivity here, the only messages that are replied to are messages from other initial group members.
• This continues for about an hour before I leave the group.

Thinking back, I probably should've gone on with the task to see how deep the rabbithole goes but I was more impressed with how elaborate and thought out the whole conversation was. I mean, this is an engagement farming setup, I would've expected something this good from some sort of money scam but not this.

So, what do y'all think?
Have you seen or done anything like this? Not talking about Telegram spam itself (duh) but this sort of elaborate campaign. How well do such campaigs work?
