Ok.. apparently there's a new trend.. Apparently.. you're supposed to do stupid shit then put it on YouTube

Kids vandalizing cars..

Now those girls capturing that girl and luring her to a house just to beat her up.. when I saw that I was like wtf? Who is that dumb to put it online.. Ok.. no..
Now apparently Dr Phil bailed one of those girls out and was going to let her make an appearance on his show..

I bet you more money than you can imagine they get nothing but a slap on the wrist..

I'm only 20 years old.. but this shit is ridiculous.. it's no wonder the teens these days are so piss poor attitude based and spoiled.. they get away with whatever they want.. Meanwhile in other countries.. just for stealing you lose a hand, in this country, you steal.. you get put on probation or just simply pay a fine. Wow..

It's no wonder 70+% of all prisoners will return to prison at sometime.. I love having the freedom to do whatever but this justice system needs taken out.. shot and re-done.

I'm also seeing this new thing called "emo" WTF IS EMO?!
Well.. apparently it means Emotional.. yeah.. kids are calling themselves "emos" as a title and are damn proud to wear that title.. what is so hard about these kids lives? Guaranteed meals, their parents are putting roofs over their heads..
"ZOMG I DIDN GET THAT PAIR OF SHOES I WANTED"
What do most kids these days seriously have to complain about?

Hell now a days parents can't even spank their disobedient kids without getting in trouble. Well.. I thought I was pre-judging them so I decided to talk a few of these emo people.. and all they had to talk about was their depression or why life was depressing..

All their profiles usually say is "sad" "depressed" hell.. if bad things happening to you make you "emo" .. well paint my nails black, buy me some girls pants and grow my hair out because I should be emo..

Someone fill me in.. what's wrong with this picture? Kids are running around doing w/e they want only to get a slap on the wrist and parents can do next to nothing about it anymore and kids are complaining about how horrible life is for them when they have it easier than most people I know. Sure.. maybe they have had some hard times but I mean come on..

Shew.. there's my rant today.

I want to start a website.. whatpissesmeoff.com
A place where I can just bitch..

ya, my kid made fun of a kid on youtube and the police came to her school to charge her with harassment. why can't kids just smoke pot and have sex these days?

Because people aren't as open minded as they were in 1970? lol

It's easy to blame the kids, isn't it?

After all if we blame the kids, then they are the scourge of society which gets us off the hook for being responsible for their actions, right?

This isn't the same society that many grew up in, in fact, in all brutal honesty, it's far from what most knew as childhood.

Isn't this a bit alarming? The problem is that most kids are experiencing a few things consistently:

Pharmaceutical drugs;
Fast Food;
Excessive amounts of television
Little to no parental supervision

Thus, this is four ingredients that comprise a recipe for disaster
and then when things go wrong and it hits the fan, we blame the
kids?

The average two-parent family has at LEAST two jobs, and they still
struggle to make ends meet, while 1 in 10 in Michigan, and 1 in 8 in
Ohio are on welfare, don't tell me that economic circumstances don't
make a difference.

Yet, it's not the problem, which is really a multi-faceted issue
that people are reluctant to address because they will not be
popular if they actually tell parents they need to take responsibility
for their kids.

One of the most alarming statistics is

1 in 4 teenage girls has STD

This is a reflection of the involvement parents have
with their teens, the medications, food, and raging
hormones with a sex-fiend culture.

I remember the most disturbing conversation I've
ever had was my father trying to explain sex to me
as a teenager when I watched an episode of Full House
and asked him where babies came from.

Admittedly, it was intentional, as I already knew
from school but he explained it as:

"...you know you have a ...and girls have just an opening.."

I suppose he was afraid I would try to put a square peg in a round hole..but I digress.

We as a society have to expect more from ourselves, and parents have to take action, to make their lives and those of their children better..because the children really are the future and blame should not solely rest on the shoulders of the kids, even though they do have to take responsibility for their actions, but parents must make it a priority to be the example in the lives of their children of quality, conviction, and character that they want them to mold their lives after.

Like it or not folks, your kids are watching you, and you are teaching them how to go through life regardless if you want the responsibility or not.

Just a few thoughts as responsibility has to shared and we should not pass the buck to the children when the parents should share the responsibility to an extent, depending on the situation - speaking as a former teen - there are somethings parents just do not know no matter how involved they are, but need to do their best to keep up.

because the media are the scum of the earth. they have no morals at all and do anything for ratings.

they can make someone famous for all the wrong reasons, and they dont care, they just want viewers. people that are now famous like joey buttafuco, that skank that fucked the gov of ny, etc..they plaster these assholes all over their channels and then they get endorsements and become rich because they broke the law. some example to set for people.

i have dealt with the media for almost 15 years now in my activities outside of the black hat world, and i have seen some really unscrupulous bullshit that people wouldnt believe how much of lowlives the media are. there are few people i have an extreme hatred for, but the media people have earned it tenfold from me.

The fact that sensationalism of immorality (to some) continues to pull massive amounts of viewers in by grabbing them by the eyeballs, jerking them to the screen, and forcing them to watch by making them hang on to their seat until the bitter end, what does that say for our current society?

i think most people that watch, they watch more out of curiosity, not approval. i think most people with any kind of decency are also repulsed at some of the cretins that get their time in the limelight for all the wrong reasons

Man .............

Where do I start with this thread .....?

How about here:

Dr Phil bailed one of those girls out and was going to let her make an appearance on his show..

Dr. Phil is a bag of dicks.......

What a cockface - and I'm being polite.

As far as the rest...

No, maybe we shouldn't blame the kids. Maybe we should blame the parents that don't take care of these fuckin bastards at all to teach and instill in them any morals or values.

Question that? Ask yourself.

I hate when I see the media even perpetuate that its violence in video games or some other stupid shit. It's the parents!!!! and peers.

You have to know what your kids are doing and ensure you instilled enough sense in them to not be aholes. Granted they will make mistakes, it clearly comes down to parenting. You can make up any circumstances you want to................it still reverts back to that answer. This is why adults above all, are mentors. Because a child's mind does not always have the ability to choose right from wrong.

-------- It would sell out in a day, if it was made legal!!

It's called morbid curiosity.

It's the same reason why the 'faces of death series are/were so popular'

And the same reason why the Roman made a sport of out of it.

Most of the issues that people struggle with at a conscious and subconscious level come from their childhood such as not being good enough, suffering is honorable and necessary, relationships with people, overall self-esteem, trusting other human beings, the type of people they are attracted as friends and spouses, and lets not forget sexual issues that they will deal with their entire lives.

Not to mention inside the human body there is a lot of cause and effect that goes on based on what you put in it if you take in a lot of fast food, food additives, medications (don't even mention Ritalin to me - it's like swimming underwater drunk), and plopping the kid down and letting the television raise them will lead to a variety of behavioral factors and normally behavioral problems as well.

Until we decide as a society that enough is enough, and it's time for a change nothing will happen - it's that simple. We have to ask more from our parents, children, governments, and we have to create a society of individualized responsibility and responsibility for our collective national body as a whole if we really want to change the circumstances in which we live - otherwise twenty years from now we will be facing the same issues (possibly exactly) and we will just be talking about solutions instead of acting on them - and as a collective consciousness on planet Earth we all deserve better than that, we have a lot of problems to solve, and Americans have to solve their problems first before they can go out and solve the problems with the world.

Let's all wake up as a society and take action so we can all live in a better society tomorrow.

Yes.. parents are a big issue, but I read not long ago.. this woman got in trouble for spanking her kid in a store when the kid refused to leave.

What are parents supposed to do now a days where parents can be jailed just for punishing their kids, meanwhile these little brats run around doing things that make anyone with common sense go "WTF?!" and most of them get a slap on the wrist or probation..

As for the media.. It is complete BS.. look at the whole Britney Spears/Lindsay Lohan coverage.. So what.. she's rich.. in movies and she did some cocaine.. just wait until Hannah Montana isn't a virgin anymore that'll be all over the place once the guy starts blabbing about it..

Why are people so damn obsessed with celebrities? OJ Simpson, Micheal Jackson, free as a bird :).. Can you imagine if any normal human being had those kind of charges against them that they had? They'd been screwed..

The thing I notice most though because most of them are slightly under my age is.. kids are complaining more than ever.. they're so used to being so damn spoiled that they have no idea what the real world is.. what real problems are.. and they think losing a week long b/f or g/f is the end of the world. I guarantee, if you put 99% of society in the woods, with no shelter, food, or protection.. they'd be lost without their Laptops, Cell Phones, Fast Greasy Delicious Food, Make up, Designer $90 shirts and pants.. It'd be a mess.

I'm not saying people don't have problems.. but from personal experience from some of these people i've observed.. these are some of the most ridiculous reasons I have ever heard to think of the world as a "cold" place or think that your life is over.. wow..

I'm teen myself i think... I'm 14 but HELL I would NEVER! Again NEVER do such a dumb things...
I think It's fault of rules in country and internet is making teens like me real as^holes...
I have seen when 2 idiots just start fight with some normal kid just because they lost him at Counter Strike last night... yes sure I helped him but who know maybe next time there wont be any1 and they will really kick hes butt...
And dude whatpissesmeoff.com can I invest into this project lol :D

These teenagers like me are just annoying :(

and I'm not joking I am 14... lol

Oh and about parents...
I have NEVER EVER NEVER EVER blamed by parents for spanking me or saying something rude to me or blah blah blah...
I know one day I will be in same situation...

Quite simply the problem is they have removed God from the schools, and pretty much everywhere else. Now before you get all anxious and upset hear me out. Whether You believe in God or not when there was prayer and 'religion' in our childrens daily lives the major benefit was that it had the amazing side effect of instilling 'Morals' into our children. Think about it for a minute 30 years ago the biggest problems in our schools besides truancy and 'chewing gum' was maybe the once in a blue moon pocket knife. And that was usually not even brandished as a weapon. Now today we have to have metal detectors! WTF?
I don't know nor care what anyones religous beliefs are but this is what I feel is a major part of what is wrong with the children today.

So I guess God made me normal teenage kid?
I went to Church School every Sunday for 4 years when I was 7 or 8...
I'm still going to Church when it's christmas or other religious holidays...

Nobody seems to have mentioned all the doctors, such as Dr. Phil(istine), helping people with all the disorders and the pre-dispositions people 'have' due to their genes. This helps sell more drugs, no doubt.

It has gotten to be a bunch of BS with the Do Gooders winning out over common sense with their squeaky voices getting the oil to shut them up.

ya, my kid made fun of a kid on youtube and the police came to her school to charge her with harassment. why can't kids just smoke pot and have sex these days?

Fuckin a right.

I think it's more the fact that these things are actually being publicised. I'm sure awful stuff like this happened years ago, it probably just happened in private, as opposed to being potentially posted all over YouTube.

Absolutely true. I mean that fact that it's happening is not exactly new.

What is interesting and or alarming, is the growing trend of kids that can't wait to record and post their illegal activities online. That really didn't exist in years past. Now it's almost an essential part of the equation to record it and upload it somewhere.

They are oblivious to the fact that they are incriminating themselves.

Teens in the 80's/90's would've taped themselves kicking some kids ass on a camcorder and made copies of the tape and it would've only gone as far as the town in which they lived. Now it goes on the internet and it becomes viral. Same deed. Different result.

If you don't watch the news or go on the internet, the world is actually a nice place.

What goes on in the news and the internet is a pure BS!
