Lets see what we get -

Minimum $29 per month and we get:

1. One month of hosting.
2. Bunch of retarded noobs with no knowledge who claims themselves as SHOPIFY GURUS in chat.
2. 1 hr of free theme support.
3. After 1 hr, u have to pay a minimum of $80 to a shopify developer even for a line of code in ur theme.
4. These chat support sick freaks dont know most of the things and yet gurus.
5. Getting into chat can take anywhere from instant to no time limit.
6. The shopify dashboard sometimes slow. Customizing the theme and previewing it is like a turtle.

Plus point -
1. Those premium apps only!

Those who are doing big in ecom, are u still using shopify? Are those apps like quantity break, upsells, and all those others available in shopify apps also available in bigcommerce and wordpress?

Jesus, I'm pissed!

You are paying 30 bucks a month... srsly expecting premium support and stuff like that?
what premium dude? that is not premium support I m asking. They should not have 1 hr support only. I believe u are from shopify with a different alias to defend them? Dont want ur critisism.

Geez, what did I just read?

Technically, shopify is literally the best platform you could run a multi-million dollar business on, all by yourself. $29 per month and they are giving you everything like hosting, a world-class help support chat, drag and drop builder, inbuilt domain registration, etc. Everything is at your fingertips and yet you complain?

Only complaining about the 1 hr theme support and the self proclaimed "gurus" at chat who almost dont know and I found two of the solutions in their OWN shopify community after chatting with them. So you get my point?

Shopify is perfect for everyone who just starts out. Basically you need NO knowledge to set up and ecommerce store. You got problems with their themes and setup? Holy fuck, don't even try Wordpress and Woocommerce. Shopify is by far the easiest I ever used.

By the way: Why don't you get the 60 days free trial? Or at least 30 days? You can also make a free account as affiliate/creator if i remember right and then you won't have to pay a monthly fee and you can create more shops. Also you should learn how to help yourself.

...and: If you think you know better: Do it yourself. Ffs.

What the hell dude. 29$ is so cheap for the service they offer. I would honestly easily pay 100-200$ per month for what they offer, So easy of use and allows you to sell your products or service in 1 day setup.

I think it's good value for what your getting especially if your a beginner and don't know wtf your doing. I'd rather pay that then go through the trouble of wordpress and setting up a cart

Obviously they profit off their payment gateway as well.
If you use an external payment gateway instead of Shopify payments, it's $29/month + 2% of your sales off the top.
That's pretty bad actually.

I doubt many people would pay $100-$200 for what they're offering.

Want to use your own shipping account? They want $299 a month.

Not really worthy to stay with Shopify if you how to build similar using WordPress+woo.

More to add adding inventory is always going to be time consuming process and till you completes your initial inventory update you may have already spent more than $100.

Hosting provider like Hostinger and CloudWays are super cheap to get started with eCommerce business with superior performance along with SSL certificate and CDN.

Suggestions is to start with hosting company which provide solid hosting at low price. Do not hurry and keep updating site products and service.

Once you're done with inventory move direction to affiliate strategy with plugin like affiliate WP and publish some good commission to Publisher.

Do not forgot that whenever publisher advertise your product you gain some juicy link to make your website super stronger in natural way along with brand awareness.

Keeping motivated yourself is key to grow and believe that you're not going to become millionaire in a night.

Stay focused, stay active.

Wut? $29/mo is a steal for a high performance ecommerce platform. Literally.

I'm a woocommerce guy, but I don't see anything wrong with their prices. It's a good platform, and easy to use for non-tech savvy users. I really don't see how they're ripping anyone off.

I always go woocommerce but I am skilled on web design.
If you are not, shopify is your best bet.

i feel so bad. I don't wish anybody struggle like this guy is going thru.
